Great haircut!. I went to Charles Elias on the recommendation of a friend who looked stunning after Jasmine worked her magic on her. Jasmine was also my stylist. She is very personable, asked all the right questions, and gave my a fantastic cut and color! It's always nerve-wrecking going to a new salon for the first time, but I am sold. I totally recommend coming here!

Happy I found this salon.. Recently started going here, and am really loving everything about it. My stylist Cristina does my color beautifully, and she is really nice. Everyone is very nice here. Love the young woman up front at the reception desk, she always remembers my name!! Love that!! And they carry Bumble and Bumble products, which I just started using, and I love those too. Definitely a great find.

Looking fabulous.... My second visit to Charles Elias and I was again pleased. Jasmine is careful and patient and listens to your concerns. I know now I will get the look I seek...I think next time I will give Jasmine the reigns to use her creativity...I feel that confident in her ability.

Everyone is friendly...I never felt "out of place", especially with being a new customer.

Looking forward to the next time.

Creativity & Originality. Salons are a dime a dozen in the Bay Ridge area, but creativity and originality are definitely not. I have visited many local salons and they all seem to be the same thing. They all also seem to have the same elitist attitude toward anyone who may want to break out of the routine mold, looking down their nose at customers they don’t see as their “target clientele”.

It is a different story at Charles Elias Salon. Here, each customer is respectfully treated as an individual, with the stylist taking a personal interest in creating something unique for that person.

Jasmine is a prime example of this. She is dedicated to her craft and seems to genuinely care for her clients. She truly listens to the client. She is a true artist and enjoys thinking out of the box. I appreciate the way she treated me and was incredibly happy with the color job she did. And the cut….she nailed it!

Jasmine proved she is one of those rare stylists who you can trust to do what she judges best. It is because of her attention to her clients as individuals that she can do this without flaw.

Finally - a great cut in Bayridge!!. Had a great first experience at Charles Elias Salon...Upon arrival, I noticed a very clean, open, professional and engaging environment.

The staff was very friendly and nice - they took my coat and gave me chocolates and green tea. A great start! Once I sat with Jasmine, I let her know I've been looking for the right cut for some time in the neighborhood and can't seem to find someone who can style and correctly cut curly hair.

She made some suggestions about how to give my hair it's maximum natural curl with little maintenance, then she went to work. It's one of the best cuts I've ever had - cut and styled to perfection. Jasmine also made great suggestions about color and highlights, which I will be going back for after the holidays. This was my last shot at getting a decent haircut in Bayridge and Jasmine pulled through.

When I was checking out, the very friendly woman behind the counter put together and little gift bag for me which included some bumble and bumble

shampoo and conditioner - they apparently give this to their first time customers...nice touch and nice job Charles Elias!!

beautiful salon and staff. i recently read all the positive reviews for this place online and decided to try it out for myself. i am very pleased i did, as i got a terrific haircut by chad. he was very professional and listened to what i wanted, and did exactly that. everyone was very friendly and attentive. fabulous haircut, and fabulous experience.

awesome!. I cannot say one bad thing about the Charles Elias Salon. It is always a great experience. Jasmine has been cutting my hairs for years and has never done me wrong. She has great style and I can literally walk in and tell her to do whatever she wants and I trust her completely. The minute I leave the salon I usually receive compliments on my hair. The entire staff is so friendly, I love this place.

Great Experience. Had a great experience here. Jasmine did my highlights and I honestly couldn't have been happier. I have been searching for good highlights for a good price for way too long. I stumble upon Charles Elias at the perfect time. I will definitely be back :)

Couldnt be happier!!. My friend and I were recently recommended to Charles Elias salon for complete hair make-overs. We were both blown away by our experiences. The place is beautiful, the staff extremely friendly and professional, and our stylist Jasmine expertly transformed both of us into divas for the day. We were even given little Bumble and Bumble gift bags as a welcome gift after we were finished. Love the products, love the salon, and love our hair!!
