I have been going to Charles Elias Salon for more than 2 years now. I get exceptional service every time I go. Tarin is THE QUEEN of cuts. She makes my long hair look very voluminous, bouncy and full of life...without sacrificing the length! I live in Manhattan and the commute is a pain, BUT it is worth every minute of my time. Highly recommend.

Thank you Chad! He made me feel welcome and understood my needs. I'd given him a vague idea of what I wanted to see done, just like I did at other salons. However, unlike the others...Chad got it right! My voice was heard. I feel lucky to have found a salon that takes the customer's requests seriously. Go to Bay Ridge and trust these fine folks. You'll certainly leave with a smile, and the looks to compliment it too!

Finally a great haircut. I move frequently, and finding a new stylist is always challenging. Fortunately, I found Christina! Not all stylists enjoy or are skilled at creating short haircuts for women, but she is fantastic. I left feeling chic and feminine. I will be back!

Great Service, Great Prices. I grew up outside of the city, so when I first moved here I gasped at the prices for a simple wash, cut, and blow dry...and had too many bad experiences in Manhattan to count. Finally I found my gem right in my neighborhood in Bay Ridge...

The entire staff is friendly at Charles Elias Salon, and the price is just right (not quite upstate prices, but definitely doable!) I have been seeing Christina for about three years and she not only is a great stylist, but a great conversationalist as well. She always gives me her honest opinion when I ask for it, and makes great suggestions when I'm not sure exactly what I want.

I should note that I've never had any services beyond my quarterly wash, cut, style and blow dry, but I've noticed that all of the other clients always seem happy with whatever service they are having done.

Bottom line - I would recommend the salon to anyone.

Super Professional!. Charlie has been cutting and coloring my hair for as long as I can remember. When he opened his own salon, I was thrilled for him. He and his staff are as good as it get. Jamie welcomes you and keeps the salon schedule moving like a fine timepiece. I never have to wait. The salon is clean and soothing. All the stylists are talented in color and cut. I highly recommend this salon. You will love the way you are treated.

Charles Elias Salon- hair. The reason I went there was to use a "groupon" I had for a moisturizing treatment. I winded up getting a haircut there with Jasmine and I was extreamly satisfied!! The salon is so nice, neat, and comforting!! Everyone was super friendly and helpful!! Jasime gives a great haircut and did exactly what I asked for!! This is my new salon!!

Christina is great. So happy I went there. I haven't cut my hair in 2 years. I'm not kidding. I have long curly hair and it was impossible to get someone who would listen and do a great job. Well, Christina is that person. I went there because I was desperate. checked all the reviews and they weren't bad. Well, I got there early and everyone was so nice. The receptionist was accomodating and Christina came right over to me to tell me her previous client was running a bit late. Offered me conditioning treatment while I waited. They kept checking on me to make sure I was comfortable. Christina was great. Talked to me first and listened to what I wanted. Was patient and so friendly. I didn't cut much because I was nervous after not cutting for so long but I am definitely going back to Christina to cut a bit more. Charle Elias Salon is great... You must check it out.

The Best Hair Salon Ever!!. Finally, after years of trying every high end salon in Bay Ridge and even Brooklyn Heights, I bless the day I found Charles Elias. I actually used to walk into salons with photographs and walk out with a completely different hairstyle from the photo!!! Now, I go to Charles Elias and have my hair cut by Chad, who is wonderful and gets it right ALL THE TIME!! Taryn does my color and highlights and she is the greatest. I have been going there now about a year and I never have to worry about anything going wrong -- I can close my eyes and not open them until I leave and I know that I will look awesome when I walk out. (Be honest, now --haven't you had the experience where you were going along just fine with a salon and then one unmagical day disaster strikes? Well, believe me, I have. It doesn't happen at CE!!). They are consistently perfect all the time.

On top of all that, to call this salon friendly is the understatement of the year. I've never felt so comfortable in a salon in my entire life. Jamie, the receptionist, is a super delight!!

Forget about where you are going now -- go here and never have to worry again!!

Lisa is AWESOME!. I did some research online to find an awesome place to get my hair done and found Charles Elias with outstanding reviews. I am very particular with my hair color and stylist. When I called to schedule an appt, they recommended Lisa for both. She does exactly what you want, very pleasant and professional. Thank you Lisa. :)

Great hair at a reasonable price. I have gone to Jasmine a few times for cut and color. She spends a lot of time fine tooning the cut sothat it looks perfect. I receive a ton of compliments after she does my hair. The prices here are great! It is more than worth the commute from the city. And Jasmine is the best :)
