“As a lover of seafood, I tend to think that I knew the best places in New York, until I traveled just outside the city.”
“Starting from there great selection of appetizers to there mouth melting entries and topped off by some of the best testing deserts in world whether it was there ice cream or there baklava with yougurt.”
“The steak is really good also although it is a seafood place.”
“Also, the main dishes are delicious and never disappoint you that is why I go back for more.”
“Their prices are low, and they have a great service.”
“Couldn't get enough of the fresh bread and the roasted peppers dip, but would suggest holding off on too much of those as you need to leave some room for the main course (good size, but not overwhelming portions).”View Less
Terrible Experience.
I am really surprised by all of the rave reviews. They are all from over a year ago so I'm guessing this restaurant has really gone downhill.
You know it's a bad restaurant experience when all of your guests are saying let's not order any more and just get out of here. Service was terrible - our waiter was a nice guy but it just seemed that the restaurant was poorly run and he couldn't do a good job. The food was perfectly mediocre, with super small portions, and was terribly overpriced. Case in point: $22 entree for 3 very bland sea scallops and sauteed spinach. That's it. Nothing else on the plate. We actually returned one of the dishes (fisherman's stew) because it was that disappointing and no one was eating it.
I really wouldn't go here. There are much better places for your money. I hate leaving bad reviews but when you're still thinking about the $200+ bill for a terrible night out that left some of your guests hungry, well, there you go.
Maybe they were good at some point, but not any more. They need to refocus on their food and management.

Amazing Meditteranean Cuisine.
SUPER DELICIOUS!!! Wow that is all I have to say. I have always loved Mediterranean food and Aqualis really impressed me.
From their bread with olive oil and olives to the dessert, everything is just amazing. I tried the grilled octopus and it was grilled just right paired with great refreshing sauce.
For entree, I decided to go with the sea scallops and my boyfriend got their lamb chops and man was I in heaven. Scallops were seasoned perfectly and they were so fresh. The lamb chops dish is huge and the lamb was tender and juicy.
We were totally satisfied after entree and guess what? They gave us complimentary dessert! Sweet baklava with their Greek Yogurt with honey! I was shocked!
I wish I live closer to Brooklyn...

I’d give it 10 stars if I could.
I’m glad I went out of my way to check out this location. is a cozy restaurant and eclectic seafood in a sleek, stylish and modern setting …..The best seafood ever!
It’s fresh and they know how to season their fishes! The grilled octopus is delicious.
The staff was friendly. Very tasty dessert was surprisingly included with our meal.
I highly recommend this place

Citysearch Editorial Review. This homey, seafood-centric Greek eatery in Fort Greene features fresh-from-the-market fish in a charming wood- and brick-walled space decorated with dangling light fixtures and antique mirrors. The well-edited menu highlights the subtle flavors of the sea, like char-grilled squid with a saffron vinaigrette, fried whiting with roasted beets and whole grilled Mediterranean sea bass. Gratis offerings, like a complimentary bowl of olives at the start of your meal and a delectable baklava wedge served with Greek yogurt at the end, sweeten the experience. …
Amazing food and service. Don't Miss!. If you have not been here yet, you are really missing out. We have visited three times, twice for diner and once for brunch, so we've tried a variety of things on the menu, and the hit the ball out of park with everything we ate and we are very critical foodies. They serve beer and wine. One evening ordered a sparkling white which they kept on ice for us and never missed a chance to keep our glasses full. D'lish!! …
