Yep, It's Good. I got my car washed here, they did a pretty good job But after that I couldn't find a CD of mine, i had a couple of friends in the car too, not sire who it was.....??????
quite impressive!.
It was our first hand wash experience in brkln, since i moved over here some time ago and didn't have time to go all the way to my usual place.
I hate taking this car to the automatic brush car wash cause it's a classy-sassy Mercedes, i cannot risk with this one!!! and I must admit - it was totally worth it and worth money i paid and i was generous on tips, cause the guys did such a great job!!!!
The outside detailing was flawless, everything is shining, especially the rims and the "wings", cause they got really nasty....
The interior - can't complain!!! the mats look like i just bought them ( i actually asked the guy - did u just got the new ones?), shampoo was done very well! my lil doggie likes to play on the back sit, so they cleaned up the whole mess...Also all the dashboards were cleaned, the trunk was spotless.
+ it was $20 cheaper than the other place i usually go to in Long Island!!!!
Defininetely coming back here!!!…
BEST CAR SPA IN NYC. I HAVE BEEN WASHING MY CARS NOW AT WHW NOW FOR ALMOST 6 MONTHS. AND I SIMPLY LOVE THE WORK THAT THEY DO. THE OWNER CHARLIE HAS BECOME A GOOD FRIEND. HIS ATTENTION TO CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING!…
Not really detail oriented.
My wife and I recently purchased a used mid-size sedan which needed to be detailed. I decided to try Williamsburg Hand Wash & Detail Center (WHW & DC) in part because of the reviews I read here and
on other websites. I decided to go with the most expensive option for my car class and informed the worker there that I wanted my car completely detailed. He informed me that the price for such service would run me about $85 (before taxes) and included a clay bar application for the exterior. He likewise stated that the price included detailing of the interior.
What are my expectations of auto detailing? An extremely precise and thorough cleaning of the interior and exterior of the car. It is meticulous and time-consuming. As the name implies, it is attention to detail.
What does WHW & DC provide? It provides a decent exterior detail combined with an extremely poor cleaning or detailing of the interior. In my opinion, the services provided are over-priced and will leave you certainly disappointed.
What I found after WHW & DC was finished with the interior of my car?
While most interior surfaces including the dashboard, windows, mirrors and trim were wiped down, there was no steam cleaning or hot water extraction for fabric, no shampooing of carpets and no cleaning and application on my leather upholstery. Even the most basic wipe down was lacking. The vents for the AC/Heating still contained a film of dust after WHW & DC was finished and the dashboard and windows had streaks. Only one of the front of the cabin storage pockets were opened and cleaned. The other two storage pockets had dry crud that had clearly not been vacuumed. On the driver’s side, where the frame meets the dashboard, there is a piece of fabric on the interior where I had left my dirty finger print. The spot remained although some attempt was made at removing it. The vacuuming also had left behind the pet hair that came with the car from the previous owner. As I sat there watching the “detailing” of my interior, it took them about 15-20 minutes in total. In sum, if I went to a basic car wash, I think I’d get the same service.
What I found after WHW & DC was finished with the exterior of my car?
The exterior frame was thoroughly cleaned and waxed while the chrome was polished. I again found certain flaws with their attention to the rims and tires of my car. The rims looked cleaner but still had dirt and debris in the crevices (rounded in parts) of the rims that a more detail-oriented place would have cleaned.
If you are truly a car enthusiast or would like to properly clean your car, I would spend $20-40 more and go elsewhere. In my opinion, I got an over-priced car wash passed off as "detailing".
***I decided to add to my initial review of this place which I made in April of 2010. Following my review here and on Google, a "Charlie" posted a 5 star review of this business on May 26, 2010 on Google. Upon closer scrutiny, I found the owner to have posted a false review of this business claiming to be a third-party customer. I scrolled over the user name of "Charlie" on Google and a user photo appeared (I did this on June 6, 2010). This photo is of the owner of WHW & DC and his wife although user "Charlie" does not identify himself as such in his review. Instead, he falsely writes a review as a third party customer boasting of the services of this place! I suspect other postive reviews of this business to have been written by Charlie or his associates under different user names as they all contain similar language or catch phrases such as "SPA".***…
Excellent Auto Spa. I purchased a used 2006 black audi a few months ago. The car was in good condition, but I decided to get a professional detailing to enhance the paint and remove some swirl marks. I brought it to Williamsburg Hand Wash & Detailing and am glad I did. They made the car look better than new. Charlie the manager was very helpful in explaining what they do to the car and the best ways for me to keep it looking new. They really know what they're doing and I plan on going back to them again.…
