Graham Avenue keeps it all in the family at this low-key neighborhood spot, a perfect complement to its rock 'n' roll counterpart, Daddy's..
Comfier, classier, and serving up tastier food than the divey Daddy's, Mother's is a testament to the notion that behind every great man there's an even greater woman. Exposed brick walls, high-back bar stools, cheap burgers, picnic-table patterned tablecloths and 16 beers on tap (including Dogfish Head, Abita Jockamo I.P.A. and Weihenstephan Leffe Weiss) attract young Williamsburg residents. It's ideal if you're going out stag in need of some TLC, but still plan to go home alone. If home is where you hang your hat, expect to find newsboys and fedoras on the coat rack.
Hits: In this uber-hip neighborhood, Mother's low-key, non-descriptiveness is what makes it inviting.
Misses: Although Mother's tries to get in on the sports bar bandwagon, with just one flat-screen TV only faux fans will be happy here during game time.
