I hate to say this, but if you're craving sushi just go to a different sushi restaurant unless there is no way out. Every time I order from here they always mess something up. They charge for the side dressing but forget to deliver it and sometimes their spicy tuna rolls don't look very fresh and don't taste so fresh either. Oh, and also the delivery guy has no manners.

Mediocre. I have walked by this place many times but have never seen a lot of people. Tonight I thought I'd give it a try. Problem one: There were three servers in an empty venue and I had to wave the servers down to place our orders. Two: The wait staff speak very little English and our orders were all wrong. Three: Cheap Sake selection. Hot or cold that's it. Tasted Blah. Four: Sushi very mediocre. They won't stay in business very long.

Sushi Lovers Spot!. Shinju was very good, I am impressed. The sushi was fresh, their menu had a variety of choices, and the service was very good. Will definitely return to this spot in The Slope. They deliver too which was nice. Very pleased with Shinju, a Sushi Lovers Spot!

worst sushi in Brooklyn. I don't recommend this place to anybody. Bad service, not fresh food and not polite waitress. They look at you like you're crazy when you get there. Also worst sushi plus they don't understand what is said to them. Simply skip this place. They will close soon if they behave like that.

good sushi in the 'hood. We ordered take out from this place last night and it was very good.

There are many sushi restaurants in the area and i thought the fish was very fresh and had a great flavor.

Def. would go back

sooooo goood. This place has really fresh sushi and it's good! You always have to be careful when going to a new sushi place because nothing is worst then bad sushi. My boyfriend and I ate lunch here the other day for the first time and were not disappointed.

Very Good Sushi!. I have had Sushi from many different places in Brooklyn and Manhattan. This spot would have to be on my Top 5 for Brooklyn and Top 15 for Manhattan. All around great sushi, great service, and the atmosphere was pretty good. Their specials are good and their coupon is great as well. 10 out of 10 for Shinju!
