Excellent Arepas and Cocktails. My favorite arepas are the Del Gato and the Black and White, the food is pretty incredible as are the strong drinks. It's always a fun environment too - low lighting and loud music. I like to come here with a bunch of girlfriends before going out for an evening, as it sets the mood. There's also a pretty cool backyard.

The long awaited alcoholic beverages arrived to Caracas. Upon arrival to the Caracas Arepas this afternoon there was a kind of drink laboratory where they were preparing their cocktail selection for the evening.

I could not help it and I asked the waiter what was going on. From his mouth came out poetry: Flores Daiquiri with hibiscus and lavender and a special type of Pisco Sour that to remember it well I will make the trip back to savour it and stick it in my mind ;)
