Thank god.
I read the review below and agree whole-heartedly. For all of the non-scenesters, this place is gold.
Only concern of mine would be the pricing on some of the items. That and the shop can look like it can be kept better.
But for the most part, it is an amazing place to find great stuff.

Great place, even for non-hipsters like me.
Great place, even for non-hipsters like me. I've already added the site to my Bookmarks bar and passed it on to friends -- even though I thought about keeping it to myself! Great place to find Christmas presents!

Amazing..
Think classic Brooklyn. Random, funny, cute, quirky, hip things you never knew you wanted. I stumbled on this place randomly and ended up combing through every single item. By the time I was done, I had about 20 different items on my wishlist. Great place, even for non-hipsters like me. The famously peppy online shop finds a chic storefront home.
The folks behind Fred Flare got their start peddling disposable drink coasters off the back of a bike in Soho--an operation they parlayed into a scrappy but successful online shop. Fast forward ten years, and their quirky stationery, wacky home décor and fabulously loud clothes have finally found a worthy brick and mortar home in their new chic storefront in Greenpoint. Items like the cheeseburger phone (as seen in Juno), the Paul Frank puppet hoodie and the cardboard fireplace give new life to the flagging fad of trendy kitsch.
