I recently moved to Bay Ridge area, so instead of going to the spa I usually go in Manhattan West Soho, I've checked the ones in my local area.
This place is pretty big, it got two levels, I believe I saw three bathrooms. One is unisex bathroom, the other two are divided by gender and of course these two have a place for you to shower and sauna. I tried the sauna, it's pretty good. It plays relaxing music and has a digital timer inside. By the way, the lockers are also located in the bathroom. Then I walked by and believe I saw two facial rooms and many massage rooms.
Pros: it's not as busy as Manhattan, so I get taken good care by the staff. While in the city, I've noticed the staff will rush the treatment and sometimes even cut your time short when they're busy.
Price is reasonable. I would say it's lower or of the same as price in Manhattan. Yet, better quality.…
Pamper YOURSELF!!!. From the minute you walk through the door soothing music is playing. Friendly,caring, and professional staff shows you to the changing room offering tea and fresh fruits. There is no snobbish feeling like from the other places I've been to uptown!! I went there during spa week and purchased an outstanding package, and had to add on more because I can't stay away. The sauna room is always ready and steaming whenever I get there. My favoritie is Kiki who tailors a facial package to my skin problem for that time and I get lots of acne. All the dark spots actually left since I started going there!! I felt so pampered and taken care of that I wish I could have spent the whole day there. The deep tissue massage is incredible. I walk in feeling stressed and walk out refreshed. The spa is so elegant and inviting. I left the spa feeling absolutely wonderful and can't wait for the next visit.…
The Best Spa. This place is too cute. It is quite cozier than most places I have been to. When you walk in you instantly feel relaxed by the candlelit room and the quietness of the place. The facial I received bas a perfect balance of clinical and rejuvenating, with the best massage I have ever received in a facial. I will send all of my friends and family here.…
Avoid this place. I made an appointment here for a facial and a massage. The staff were rude when I entered, they cancelled the massage due to double bookings, no apology. The facial was terrible and I had to keep telling the esthetician to take it easy on my face. My face was so red and swelling too. I have had many facials and this was the worst.…
Worst service. Bar none this was the worst service I' ve ever got anywhere. Sometime you better off going with what you know. I decided to try this spa but got nothing except frustration. It was very noisy. Therapist stopped massage to answer the phone. No apologies when she returned from the phone call，went back to answer the phone again and still no apologies. Now stopped massage to help the front desk client，You get the picture? This happened over and over. I complained to the receptionist when I checked out. She did not speak English. How you could have a receptionist who does not speak English. I will never go back to this place.…
