so my friend sent me to <bedford and berry being that his friend is the chef there (coby) ...but much to mine and my girlfriends dismay we were told that he was no longer there ..when we asked the waitress just replied that she didnt know , but he was not happy about it ..So we decided to try some of the stuff from the new menu ....all i have to say is that i was very disapointed ...the new menu is a shell of what the old one was ... <burger =over cooked ,mac and chesse = what happened( the old one was great what happened) i was at the opening of b&b and the food was great and have seen the old menu ...dont know what the new staff and chef are doing but who ever is leading this ship should take some cooking lessons ...what happened the food and service was so good ????

On Saturday I went in with my mom. It was the worst service and food I have gotten in a while. The meat was undercooked when I had ordered my steak, WELL DONE, and my mom's mac and cheese looked like left overs. We ordered the house wines and then sent them back.
The gnats were everywhere, and our glasses had lip marks on them from other guests visiting. I work in Restaurant PR and immediately went back to my coworkers to tell them how horrible of an experience I had inside of Bedford & Berry. But that is not all that happened - when we were eating, the table next to us found a balled up napkin in their dish (I don't know which one they ordered)!!! It was gross! One of the cooks came out and offered no explanation. The waitstaff was also really poor - our waitress came back two times with the wrong dishes, and then tried to serve us a dish that was sent back (we heard them send it back) from a few tables over. Then, when the bill came, they had charged us for the most expensive wine-by-glass they had, as opposed to the house wines we ordered, sent back and then got repoured in newer glasses.
Here is the topping on the cake: MY MOTHER SAW A CREEPY CRAWLIE ON THE TABLE, but before I could take a picture of it with my phone, it ran away. These other posts on here must truly be the owner (who is the chef here anyway, no one at my firm's ever heard of him) and their pack. This is a restaurant that should have opened near a college, and then shut down by the DOH. My firm and I are looking into putting them on our Blog due to the horrible $98 dinner I had there, what an embarrassment to Williamsburg, and Restaurants!!
- Pros: It's in the burg.
- Cons: It's dirty, the waitstaff can't get orders right, and we saw critters.
Lovely!!

The popcorn hanger steak salad is not only fun but delicious and the goat cheese ravioli's are out of this world! It's great for small groups or dates. I went with my two bff's and it was so nice to sit down and not feel cramped as the space is lovely and open with it's high ceiling and oblong shape. A for atmosphere and A plus on the menu.
- Pros: Great space, nice staff, wonderful menu!
