The Best Peruvian food in town

I went with my husband to aji last night to celebrate our anniversary and we had a great time. What it is so particular about Aji is the food!!!! The food was delicious. We share the jaleita, the aji salad, the lomito sandwich and the papas rellenas and the food remind us of the plates that we had last time we were in Peru. Everything was so fresh, clean and I have to said it again the food was delicious. The waiter advised us that the plates were small so we decided to order a lot but when he brought us the food the plates were pretty generous. Also, the place is really cheap !!! specially for the high quality of food that we had. We highly recommende Aji!!! It is worth the trip.

Awesome Food!!! Fun Environment !!!

Went to Aji for dinner because other friends recommended it to me, and let me tell you something... it reminds me when i was in Peru two years ago, the live music is nice while you having dinner. I had the Ceviche and skirt steak sandwich was delicious, my wife had an empanada and anticuchos, she really loved the empanada and told me that remind her childhood in Argentina.... is one of thebest empanadas she have tried ever. Service was good and one of the owners came to our table to talk to us and make sure everything was ok.

We are coming back for sure to have more food and drinks!!!

• Cons: maybe more lightning.

bad bad bad

i went there on a Friday with my husband, and i honestly have to stay it is not worth it! my waiter had no type of manners what so ever. He was blasting the music and dancing by himself like a retarted person. he was expecting us to order more food because he said that the portion was small. Thank goodness my husband stopped me from ordering more food, because the food was terrible. The empanadas is nasty. The dough is thick and the seasoning was awful. Growing up in a puerto rican family i know what is good food. I also order the peru tea drink OMG not only did it look awful but it tasted like slimmy medicine. yuck. I also order an appetizer it was a fish rolled up in something. That took the cake, i felt like i was in the fear factor show...it smelled very fishy and tasted the way it smelled. appalling i say. not worth the price at all. i didn't go to the back yard to see how it looked because there was a party. Upstairs was a bunch of dingy sofas on the roof. but the main floor was decent. The price is not worth it at all!! when my husband and i left we said good-bye to the water who was hanging out in the front of the restaurant he just turned around looked at us and gave us a peace sign!!! he needs to find another career. i should have went next store, which was mccdonals. I would have had a better time! i will never ever go there!! if you want real spanish food and good service go somewhere else!!!
