In Short
Brooklyn's Vanderbilt Avenue nightlife scene continues to sizzle with the arrival of this sporty, skinny neighborhood saloon outfitted with four flat-screen TVs, a see-through glass storefront and a kitchen that crafts elevated pub grub like New York strips steaks, hearty salads and toasted ravioli. Some patrons dine at a waiter-service table, while others plop down at the petite bar and choose from among 10 draft beers, including Budweiser by the pitcher and pints of Sam Adams and Hoegaarden (both $6).
Hits: It's hard to argue with the chill neighborhood vibe, the game on TV, and such heart-friendly fare as the "inside-out" (cheese-stuffed) burgers.
Misses: Aside from the sports-centric TVs and moldy rock tunes, there's little to appease your eyes or ears, and chances are Plan B is no better than your own neighborhood bar.

Good experience on the first visit, as I was walking by on the avenue and wanted to get out of the rain. The chicken wrapped in lettuce was great, as well as the recession special. Kate was a great server, the staff was very friendly, and tv stations were changed on request. I would visit again.

If you are looking for a relaxed environment, great food, and a friendly staff, Plan B should be your next stop! It's a great place to have dinner and drinks after enjoying a day in Prospect Park or at the Brooklyn Museum. Its a quick walk if you are able and less than a five minute drive if you are not. You can watch any sports game you desire and if it's not on the t.v. when you arrive, the bartender will be more than happy to put it on! The menu varies from a delicious burger with cheese cooked inside to fresh grouper or tender pork chops. There is indeed something for varying taste buds! What's especially nice is the quiet outdoor area in the summer. There were many times this past summer I lost myself in a book and a glass of pinot grigio. It felt like I never left the park! It's a great neighborhood spot that I would highly recommend to the Brooklyn locals like myself!
