For great wings, visit Red Star bar on Wednesday 50 cent wing night----- but regardless, this gem of a bar has a great blue collar feel to it, great place to watch a game, and good bar food including nachos, etc.

Red Star is the BEST sports bar in NYC!. Red Star really is the BEST SPORTS BAR IN NEW YORK CITY! I read all the write ups in Time Out New York, New York Magazine, The Village Voice etc etc. Red Star lives up to all the hype! These guys really know how to do it right! There's TV's everywhere! They show every game and every sport you can imagine! They even show all the UFC and boxing pay per views! The staff is AWESOME! They're friendly, attentive and totally cool. They treat you like family! The FOOD IS AWESOME! The WINGS and BURGERS are THE BEST IN NYC! I live in Manhattan and gladly travel to Brooklyn to go to Red Star! I've been to this place no less than 50 times and have NEVER had a bad experience! In the mood for dessert? Try the FRIED CHEESECAKE!

The Best Wings I have ever tasted!. Red Stars wings are amazing! The raspberry bbq are like chicken and waffles all wrapped up and ready to be devoured. The buffalo wings are the perfect mix of spice and the blue cheese is nothing short of phenomenal! I can't wait to go again!

They don't know how to cook.. This spot i tried to give it a chance and go for the wings. The cheese and wing sauce are so saturated with butter and blue cheese sauce is so watered down, i felt so full in a cheap way. Try Bean Post! Way better hands down!

Greenpoint Beer Festival. Last year's GREENPOINT BEER FESTIVAL was an absolute blast, and this year's promises to be even more so, as almost twice as many craft and microbrews will be featured. In addition, RED STAR will be hosting some of the nabe's top musical and spoken word performers in their upstairs event space. Solid sports bar without. Lots of flat screen TVs, specials on pitchers, very friendly and attentive service. Bar food is good and sliders actually come out medium-rare. Will display any game you want.

Best Sport Bar in Brooklyn. It's a really great place to watch all sports and live entertainment. You can watch all Football Games, NHL Games and more while you enjoy those tasty chicken wings. They make the best wings here. The buffalo spicy-mild are my favorite. Go there on Wednesday, they have them for only 0.37 cents. I will go there to watch the superbowl for sure. Great Happy Hour Specials too.
