“The classes are amazing, and the tea is fantastic.”
“Beautiful space, super-friendly staff and (going on) my 4th massage with Natalia - I'm post surgery, and it's difficult to find massage therapists that are trained enough and have the right touch.”
“The steam room isn't overpriced.”
Zen out with Anit Hora's organic facials!. I've seen Anit for facials twice, and each time I've left feeling unbelievably relaxed. She really takes time to examine my skin and tailors her facials to what I need. My skin looks so much better afterwards, and the whole thing is just a truly lovely experience.
FAKE and PHONEY owners..
Shocking this place got perfect reviews....
I wouldn't recommend this place, the name itself is a misnomer. Presumably if you wanted to practice yoga and really practice it you'd want an honest teacher who practiced the principles of holistic lifestyle. Well such is not the case for any of those at Namaste...
In 2009, I had a friend who moved out of an apt that was above this yoga studio, one of the instructors at Namaste, Rebecca, was moving into the apt that my friend was moving out from. My friend was in a tough spot and was a bit delayed in getting her movers there to move out her stuff out on the scheduled moving day, anyone who has moved in NYC would have compassion - and in fact she notified Becky in advance that her movers would be a bit late. But alas by the time, my friend got there with her movers (an hour late) my friends stuff had been thrown to the street, items were destroyed and both the Namaste instructor Rebecca and Namaste's owner Debbie (who was helping Rebecca move in) showed no remorse (my friend said the owner Debbie who lived downstairs never projected a positive vibe to begin with), these yoga instructors and masters of wholistic lifestyle, threw someones stuff out the window because they couldn't wait an hour. They never even called the landlord prior to throwing the stuff in the street they just made the decision on their own to throw another persons stuff on the street. She even showed me pictures of this disaster, armoires and a bed destroyed.
On top of that during this whole ordeal, my friends laptop and canon rebel camera was stolen during this whole event and Becky refused to reimburse her for either of the items stating that she didn't have the money, she didn't even offer to pay her back over time.
If this is what you call Namaste, then you'll fit right in. But if I were you I'd head a yoga studio where they practice the spiritual principles of yoga and practice what they preach. Namaste.
My favorite Yoga Studio. Every time I go to Namaste I feel at peace. If I'm there the day can only get better. The classes are amazing, and the tea is fantastic. I also love the cleanser they use to clean their natural yoga mats. The steam room isn't overpriced. I have yet to try any of the massages but I don't think I want to go anywhere else the next time I get a massage.
Amazing. I took my first yoga class at Namaste with Ellen a couple of months ago and it has changed my life. she really knows her stuff! I can't believe how much knowledge she has about the human body and how much she has helped me overcome my stiff neck, lower back pain, sleep, and even general well-being. she is such a great, funny, and smart teacher!
This sleek Williamsburg yoga center offers a wide range of relaxation therapies in a sustainable space..
In Short
The Namaste Yoga and Tranquility center is a judgement-free zone devoted to relaxing those New York nerves. If yoga doesn't cut it, they offer Reiki, acupuncture and Cranial Sacral therapy among many other treatments. Namaste's sustatinable studio has bamboo floors and uses jute mats so you can feel at peace with your environment. Plus, enjoy tea in the backyard garden after every class.
A+. I am new to Williamsburg and so happy to find Namaste yoga studio in the neighborhood. After living in Manhattan and visiting the many studios there, I definitely found Namaste?s Hatha style refreshing. Also the tea garden in the back! and yoga outside in the grass!!! Amazing. Plus there is a steam room and I got a great massage by Mia the other day. So relaxing. I don?t usually feel compelled to write reviews but this place was too good to keep quiet about.
Best Wellness Center In NYC.
One of the most pleasant experiences where a professional and extremely capable staff helps you to connect to the unlimited possibilites within each of us.
A clean and well run environment where you can go after a fast paced day and reconnect with your core
Love it , a must for all urban dwellers who want quality.
Great place / great massage!. Beautiful space, super-friendly staff and (going on) my 4th massage with Natalia - I'm post surgery, and it's difficult to find massage therapists that are trained enough and have the right touch. I've been to yoga classes there to, very satisfied!
Sooooo Relaxing. I was in town on buisness. I heard from friends of mine in Williamsburg how serene Namaste was. I was so delighted by the people that own it and work there. It truly is a healing place to visit. It will be on my regular routine when in Ny.
Best Yoga. This place has the nicest people working here, and the yoga classes are fantastic. They offer all different types of yoga as well as nutritional classes. I highly recommend this to everyone that has never tried yoga before, and anyone that really loves yoga. They also have steam rooms, and massagers. Incredible place!~
