Hair Metal“The vibe of the place is super chill, great music playing, and the people are awesome.”
Hipsters required. First haircut here. The stylist extremely nice and pleasant. The cut was cute and fun at first, but then it dawned on me. I have curly hair and it was straightened with some heavy duty stuff, I haven't the time to put that much effort into my hair. Plus the cut does not work when I let it go natural. Though that is my problem, she could at least give me some pointers with it. I may give this place a go again.
Favorite NY Salon. I've been in NY for a little over two years now, and have finally found my favorite salon. Hair Metal was recommended to me from a friend, and having been only marginally happy with other places I'd tried, I thought I'd give in a go. I made an appointment with Ed, and he did an AMAZING job. I went in with a general idea of what I wanted (cut and full color), but told him to just work his magic, and I couldn't have walked away happier. I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair as I have since going to Hair Metal, everyone asking me where I go and saying how much they love it. The vibe of the place is super chill, great music playing, and the people are awesome. What else do you need? I won't go anywhere else.
Editorial Review. Small Williamsburg hair salon with a metal aesthetic and a reputation for edgy cuts.
