At the end of one of Williamsburg's most charming streets--featuring quaint historic buildings, climbing ivy and a waterfront view--is possibly New York's most chic discount store. A.P.C.'s understated bohemian styles for men and women (including past-season tops, button-downs, jackets, accessories and more) are all 60 percent off, save for a rack of full-price jeans. The French label has always been about simple chic, and this space exudes it: exposed brick, high ceilings, intricate window mouldings, and, of course, employees straight out of a fashion spread.

Hits: Where else can you find one of fashion's most coveted labels at discount prices, all in a space that feels more like an expensive boutique than a discount store?

Misses: Average-sized people beware: Medium sizes sell out quickly, leaving mostly large and small garments left on the racks.
