Nice patio and decent service. Better than average, but that's because of the patio and the service. The patio is a good size and you don't feel like they forced too many tables back there. The staff was attentive which was nice. I never had to ask anyone to come over to refill my drink, but they also weren't hovering over us. The food is good. Nothing special, but consistent. I'd probably go more often if it was priced a little better or portions were a little bigger.

Mixed experience. I'm mostly about the food. For me to complain about the service, it really has to be unusually sub-par.

Its very common for plates to be removed from the table quickly, if the restaurant is crowded and they need to "rush" you along. When my wife and I were at Mizu, we were the only ones in the entire restaurant. The waitress wanted to remove the plate from my wife's side, the second she finished her food. The waitress then brought the check while wife and I had most of my drinks. we wanted to finish our drinks before paying/leaving. Well, the waitress stopped by 3 times to take the check, which was not ready. On the 3rd time, I chugged my drink than paid and left. There was still nobody else in the restaurant. I understand this type of service when they need to turnover the tables quickly, but this was clearly not the case.

Food was good, specially the Spicy Mizo Sushi

very good sushi-sake. this is a very good find in brooklyn. if you like sushi, you'll very much enjoy this place. If you like saki, you'll very much love this place.
