Tips for Mulholland's

The Owners Ruin This Place. I've been to Mulhollands a couple of times and had the pleasure of being served by a really nice bartended, but the most recent trip will definitely be my last. The owners and most of the barkeeps are rude, bullheaded morons. There's a disclaimer in the menu stating, basically, you have no rights as a customer and can be tossed at any time. Believe it. That's exactly what happened to me.

After waiting 30 minutes for a simple order of Cheese Fries, I went up to the bar and asked how much longer it would be. His response was nothing but attitude. I apologized and said I was just curious and went and sat back down. 20 minutes later, 50 minutes after ordering, I walked up and stood next to the bar to see if my food was there. The owner / bartender walked up to me and said "What!". I simply said I was waiting for my food. He then proceeded to flip out, tell me IM out of control (I was just standing there), and that I was cut off (1 had one previous beer).

For some reason, when you order your food you have to give over an ID or Credit Card or something. And after listening to this guy lose his nuts, I asked if I could at least get my ID back. He stormed over to the register, grabbed it and, as I stretched out my hand to take it from him, he threw it at my face.

Bring the Pub back (Mulhollands former Owners and Operators) because I will never go to this dump again.

The frat party has come to Williamsburg, HOORAY!. And it has squatted in Mullholland's. Thank goodness! I was worried I wouldn't have anywhere in the 'Burg I could sit, pound fried food AND listen to dozens of people carry on entire conversations with 'like, er, I mean, ummm, like, like, like, you know?' while trying to watch a game. I've been 3 times now. 2x too many. Each time hoping it would be better. Lots of fried food and generic, tasteless beers. I was given attitude (as if I had asked her to do something other than her job) by the bartender when I returned my flat, warm Guiness and asked her to pour it properly. She returned immediately (a clear sign she didn't pour it properly) with a look of disgust on her face?as if she had witnessed me putting a cigarette out on a kitten?and another flat, warm Guiness. She sent over the manager who assured me it had been poured in the proper '3-stage' manner. Needless to say Guiness is poured in 2 stages not 3, but as long as people are crawling in off the street for free tall boys of Colt 45 and fat-flavored-fried-fare, who cares? And they do have lots of Bud and Bud Light. Umm-mmm nothing tastier than genetically engineered rice beer to wash down the typical generic, overpriced fried sports bar menu. If you do dare eat plan on spending the next morning in the bathroom vacating your bowels. But if you're looking to shed a few pounds or clean the pipes their menu might be the sports-bar-colonic you're looking for. It is the best new bar in Brooklyn. If you've never been to Brooklyn before and this was the first and last place you visited. Um, like..... like......cheers.

Best Wings Ever.. Fav Football Spot. I have to say I have finally found THE spot to watch the Packers! I've been here the past two Sundays and love it here. It's so refreshing to finally find a Sports bar in Williamsburg. There's a ton of tvs, the wings here are amazing, and there's always a decent crowd hangin. I've even come by to just hang with some friends during the week.. this is def our new spot.

NO FUN. I WENT TO THIS PLACE WITH A FEW FRIENDS AND WE HAD AN AWFUL TIME. THE DRINKS WEAK AND PRICEY AND THE FOOD TOTALLY LACK LUSTER.... I GUESS IT WOULD BE A GOOD PLACE TO GO IF YOU HAD NO TV AND YOU MUST WATCH THE GAME IF YOU DIDN'T WANT TO EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING.

A sports bar in Williamsburg? That's like finding an oasis in the desert.. In Short:
Although one might expect a glorified sports bar like this in a neighborhood like Murray Hill, Mulholland's is smack dab in the middle of Williamsburg. Because of its locale, the fact that it's unremarkable is also what makes it so unique. High-back bar stools, exposed brick walls, dark wood paneling, a jukebox full of crowd-pleasers, a 50-foot long mahogany bar, 22 beers on tap, and an of array posters advertising events like Thursday night beer pong make this a safe bet if you're looking for a place to cheer on your team, without crossing a bridge into Manhattan.

Hits: Ten high-definition plasma screens line the perimeter of the bar, ensuring optimal viewing from any angle.

Misses: It feels out of place in a neighborhood dominated by hipster hangouts--even if it's just what the area needs.

My Favorite New Bar in Williamsburg. LOOK ALIVE LOVERS...One word...Mulholland's! This beautiful sports bar on Grand and Havemeyer comes equipped with an amazingly chill staff, cocktails and beer list equaling perfection, and a fireplace that makes my heart melt. I stumbled upon it after a brilliant brunch with the girls across the street (although I've come to learn that Mulholland's has the sickest benedict ever!!) and we not only chilled with dope winter whiskey bevs by the fireplace..we also danced the night away all over, including on top of the bar! So friends, leave your yule log on your tv for the real fire in the back of Mulholland's and while your at it indulge in some drinks and snacks that deserve to be served in the hall of Greatness!! P.S....did I mention their kitchen is open til 4am?! Word.

Not what I expected!. My boyfriend is a huge sports fan...I am not. Last weekend I promised I would watch the Giants game with him and he took me to this new bar...Mulholland's. Much to my surprise I had a great time. The drinks were reasonable and well made not too mention the food was soooo good. I ordered the tomato soup and it was awesome..my boyfriend had the wings.. also great. It was a packed bar...everyone was so friendly including the staff. Needless to say I had a blast...I actually enjoyed watching the game for once!!!!

Mulholland's is fun. It's not your typical over-crowded grimey bar. The place has a fireplace, outside seating, and a ton of huge flat screen tvs, playing all the sports you want to see and can get pretty busy on game nights. But the bar is also nice for a night out catching up with good friends, as there are a couple corners to tuck away in to. It has the warm feeling of a neighborhood bar and menu full of delicious - albeit not the most healthy - food. Mulholland's is the kind of sports bar you can enjoy with anyone!
