So this is why they always chose Sears. I remember as a kid, every time our dishwasher, dryer or refrigerator broke my dad would pack the family up into the family station wagon and we’d all take a trip to our local Sears on LI. My sisters and I would play while my mom and dad shopped for the perfect new appliance. When my husband and I moved into our new home we wanted new appliances and my childhood memories led us to sears and boy am I glade they did.

As soon as we walked into the appliance department, an associate greeted us and worked with us throughout the duration of our time at Sears. He first listened to what were looking for and then assisted us in finding it and completing our transaction. We wanted all energy efficient appliances for our kitchen since NY state was offering a $500 rebate if you bought multiple energy efficient appliances. The gentlemen that helped us knew all about the rebate program and he helped us pick out a great dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave. The whole process took some time since there were only a few items that met the energy efficient specifications.

It’s 20 years later and now I finally know why my parents always went to Sears and why it always took so long. They went there because the service is great and it took forever because buying appliances is a BIG purchase. Oh the things you learn as an adult.

The Appliances Are What's Happening Here!. Recently I had a toaster oven disaster. While I was trying to live without one for several weeks, I knew I had to eventually cave in and buy one. Since I’m on a tight budget and did some research to purchase a very budget friendly, Sears was my savior. I could’ve gone to Target, or tried to order one online, but honestly, there were definite differences in the price. I was saving a lot going here, and when you have a car, it really isn’t terrible to drive there.

I have never been to this Sears before so on my way to the appliances I couldn’t help but notice all the other wonderful things on sale. I love to cook and bake, so this place was like Christmas morning to me. There were so many options as far as toaster ovens go, and in addition, there was lots of “as seen on TV” objects and baking goods. If I had any questions, the sales people were super helpful. In matter of fact, they even suggested I sign up for one of those reward type programs to get a discount, sweet!

I think I would go here whenever I need some new appliances. If you look online and really compare, you will see a difference too. As far as the other departments in this store go, I’m not too sure about that. Maybe next time I will check them out!
