Boutique hotel offers a solid, stylish stay in Park Slope..
Providing a modern contrast to the classic brownstones of the neighborhood, this sleek Park Slope hotel replaces a plumbing supply store on an industrial strip of 4th Avenue--another sign of Brooklyn’s comeuppance. Designed by celebrated architect Andres Escobar, the steel and glass building features eight floors of mostly white guestrooms (outfitted with fun, blue headboards that light up), which come equipped with free Wi-Fi and 42-inch plasma TVs. Extras include (limited) free parking, gratis continental breakfast, and balconies--many with views of the Manhattan skyline. See-through glass showers offer views that are similarly stimulating.
