Left Turn Driving School

Prepared the road test with a driving school in Queens, but my instructor only trained me in a narrow street, hence I took one 90 minute lesson from the Left Turn Driving School to learn the skill of changing lane, and Valery was my instructor. I am not only learned the skill, but after that 90 minute lesson I am no more scared of driving in a busy street. It is amazing he has such wonderful ability of building up confidence! I did not pass the road test, and I wanted switch to Valery. He also has many good comments, requested me to do everything exactly same as his way, he also pushed me to take lesson almost every day. But with Valery, he let me keep what I learned before, and only corrected the things I did wrong. Valery always explained me clearly how and why I should do it; when I made a mistake, he would not simply ask me to redo it; instead he gave me a way to fix. ONLY THE BEST! ALEX IS BRILLIANT!. This place is the best!!!!! The last time I drove, I was 16 and nervous ever since. Now I’m 30, with a child and even more nervous! The ONLY driving school to use!. Valeriy from Left Turn Driving School was absolutely amazing. I passed the test first time with zero points off and I have never driven before I started practicing with Valeriy! He is very professional, very detail oriented and very patient. I would not be able to take driving lessons with anyone else including my own parents and friends. He made me feel confident and relaxed for the exam all because he makes every effort to prepare his students properly. On 03/14/2012 I passed my road test on my first attempt Valeriy was my instructor and sometimes I unintentionally tested his patience by doing what he told me not to do. A major challenge for me was parallel parking. It became an issue because I was trying to memorize the turns. Valeriy realized what I was doing and told me that this can't happen and my focus should be to think of the position I would like the rear or front of the car to go in and then turn the wheel accordingly. His advice made the world of a difference as he was spot on. Valeriy is a stickler for driving properly and safely. He brings the simplest mistake to your attention even if he has to repeat himself over and over. With that he reminds you of what you should have done. Ensure that you do as Valeriy says and you will be well on your way to passing your test. Trust his judgment when he tells you whether or not he thinks you are ready for your test. When he felt I was ready he gave me a mock test which I had failed because at that time I was trying to memorize the turns to the parallel park. Before the mock Valeriy explained the point system and when I was through we discussed the points deducted and the reasons. Valeriy and I agreed that my next lesson would be scheduled couple days prior to my test date so that we would focus mainly on my parking. This was done and I was well prepared. Embrace Valeriy's criticisms as you would his praises, because you will receive them both. Valeriy is an excellent and patient instructor!
