Can't Beat Butter Consignment!. I am reluctant to share this gem of a shop with others because Butter consignment

resale clothes are so carefully selected, whether it be 1930'3, 1940's, or 1950's Vintage;

hard to find pieces that may be the early designs of some of the best in clothing names,

or recent picks of top designers. I have found them here and grabbed them up. I stop

in every few weeks, always finding some 'must have' item. I live in Manhattan and

make the trip to Butter because it's "worth" it!

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I'm a PICKY shopper and when it comes to customer service [ and after working in retail for 13 years], I demand the best. From the first time I walked into Consignment, I was impressed. The staff were welcoming NOT pushy, they didn't hang all over me but seemed to be right there when I needed help. They gave me HONEST opinions about my selections and have never tried to "sell" me on anything that didn't look great or fit well. I have gotten many of my "go to" pieces from them, bags, shoes, dresses, etc. I never have "buyers remorse" when I've spent because anything I buy there has become a staple. The items are in good condition, always and the staff and manager are truly a joy. I have been a regular client there since they opened and I'm glad they did. I sincerely love to shop here!!!!!!!!

Best selection, best service!. After hearing such great things about Butter Consignment, I had to see for myself. I consider myself a connoisseur of consignment shops and even I was impressed with the quality of merchandise. They also carry sale merchandise from past seasons at Butter, which adds an even greater assortment of designer labels to the mix. A delightful sales staff made this shopping experience even better. I will be back very soon.

Such a Gem!. Butter Consignment is a fantastic shopping experience. They carry end of (and past) season products from Butter just a few storefronts away, as well as very selectively taking lightly (or sometimes not at all) worn designer pieces from consigners. The atmosphere is as boutiquey as it comes, and the staff pleasant and helpful...but of course there is a little more digging because things are one of a kind there aren't size options really. You can't go looking for anything in particular, but I'd be surprised if you go and find there isn't something you can't leave without. I went in for a browse and came out with a barely worn Narcisco Rodriguez shift dress yesterday - for a mere fraction of what the retail price would have been. Totally worth a trip!!
