Great experience. I work for TSI, an outstanding IT Support firm in Midtown. Recently, we needed to have a large printer moved from our office to a client's office. I checked around and came across Basic Moving.

From the moment I called, they listened and made sure they understood what I needed. They gave me options. They made an appointment when I needed it.

When their staff came, the gentlemen were very courteous. They quickly, but carefully, moved the printer. I didn't have to worry about certificates of insurance. Basic's office team had already taken care of that.

The next time TSI needs a large piece of equipment moved, I won't need to call around. All I'll need to do is call Basic Moving.

Great Moving Experience. I used Basic Moving to move out of an outside storage unit, and it was a great experience all around.

From the beginning, the person I made the phone reservation with was kind, polite, and extremely helpful. He made me feel assured that the move would go smoothly and it did. On the move-out day, the movers were professional, efficient, and friendly.

I would definitely recommend the company to anyone who wants an easy and pleasant moving experience!

NYC MOVING!. I hired Basic Moving based on a recommendation from a family friend. He used this company for a local Brooklyn move and was ecstatic about his experience.

I am very glad I listened to his advice. My Manhattan moving project had very strict move-out and move-in hours and the crew was very efficient, quick and careful.

All of my furniture was wrapped with moving blankets for extra protection and it did arrive to the new apartment without a single scratch. The movers were cooperative with both of my building maintenance people and we had no hard time from them whatsoever.

I was expecting some hassle, especially from my building. But, thankfully to my movers, they melted those tough building people.

I will definitely use them again and recommend them in the future.

Great, Affordable Movers. Basic Moving moved my stuff cross country. They were professional and helpful from packing up my stuff to making sure it got there as quick as possible. Robert the driver was especially helpful in communicating his driving progress. AND it ended up costing almost $1,000 less than the estimate. I was very happy. Thanks Basic Moving!!

Worry Free Moving. I contracted Basic Moving to move me from New York to North Carolina. From begiinning to end this move was handled very professionally. John came and gave me an estimate and assured me that the price would not exceed what was on the contract. Not only did the price not exceed the estimate, but I was called and told that I was due a $400 refund because my things weighted less than estimated.The men who packed my things in New York were very friendly and handled my things carefully. Grace, the secretary was great, she kept me informed about my move the entire time. My things arrived in North Carolina on time. I have not unpacked everything yet but so far everything seems to be in good condition. The driver, Boris was so accomodating and never once got frustrated when I kept changing my mind about what rooms I wanted my stuff put in. I will be moving again shortly,this time local, and the first call I will make is to Basic Moving. Moving is a very stressful process but if you want to have one less thing to worry about use this company you won't regret it.

Great Job-Plain and Simple. My company uses Basic for all their moving needs. I moved from East Village to Midtown. The move was done fast. The driver and the crew were very

friendly and hard working. It is always a hassle moving in the City,

especially the parking. My driver was an ace. The parallel parking he did with the truck, I would not make with my car! I had three other movers making a delivery to my new building. They were working there before we arrived. My driver made all the arrangements and we were done unloading before the others.

So again, they are Great-Plain and Simple!

Happy Mom. I had asked Basic Moving to send someone to my home when we were planning on relocating from NJ to TN. We had a very full active home in Jersey with two small children and two dogs and we didn’t need any more stress than we already had. The estimator was very respectful and easy to deal with and explained everything in great detail. We had three other estimators come over and we felt the most comfortable with Basic Moving.

Pack and load went great and the delivery arrived on time. As I am writing this review, all the boxes are unpacked and all the contents are in perfect condition. It is very important to hire the right company that truly understands your needs, your concerns and your unique situation. Basic Moving/Wheaton is definitely this type of company.

Reliable and Reasonable. I needed to move fairly quickly within Brooklyn in a week’s notice. I happened to find Basic Moving on the Internet and gave them a call. They asked me for a list of all the items I was moving and then gave me a price, which I found quite reasonable.

The crew arrived on the day and time promised to me by Basic Moving. They worked efficiently and moved everything from my old apartment to my new apartment and assembled everything as well. I was quite pleased with their hard work and would recommend them to anyone looking for a mover.

Office Move. Basic Moving was recommended to me by a good friend. Our architect firm has

15 employees and we have been in the same office for the past 30 years. The company assigned a move coordinator that oversaw the entire process. It was a 2-day move and everything couldn’t have gone smoother. It is a big deal to move 30 years of your life, but the moving company went above and beyond to make this transition as easy as it gets.

As per our move coordinator’s suggestion, we did it over a weekend. So, our operations were not interfered at all and we were back in business on Monday. There were many decisions to be made to relocate our firm, hiring Basic Moving was by far the best decision made.
