Out on the outer rim of civilization, you might be suprised to find this craft cocktail bar, which also happens to serve some really delicious comfort food.

The romantic tree-lined back patio of this Bushwick bar is reason enough to weather pricey drinks and a sometimes-pretentious clientele.

Decent cocktails on the Southside. Not too sure how I feel about this place - I live around the corner, so I often drop in for a quick cocktail when I'm too lazy to go over the bridge to the LES. They have a great cocktail list, but their execution on some of the classics is sloppy (Sazerac is noteworthy in that it requires an absinthe RINSE, not mixed in the drink.) It might sound like I'm nitpicking, but I'm of the belief if you are going to jump on the cocktail bandwagon and charge 12 bucks for a drink in BROOKLYN - it should be properly done. I prefer Hotel Delmano, for cocktails - but Huck has a good beer and bourbon selection so it's a toss up sometimes. Overall, it's a good spot, but has areas to improve.

well done!. This is becoming my new spot for every occasion, from birthday parties to just meeting a friend after work (yeah for 2-for-1 happy hour). I?ve even been known to sneak over after work for some late night munchies. Everyone that works there is super nice (and cute) and just give off a really good vibe.

Can?t wait until spring to sit outside in the wonderful backyard and sip some fabulous cocktail!

A nice addition to not-so-nice Grand street. This place is really cool! I'm psyched there's finally a tasteful bar right in this neighborhood because I only live 2 blocks away. I came here once during the week with my boyfriend and it was pretty empty but a mellow quiet place for us to relax and just chill-out together. I went here this past Saturday and it was a whole different story. It was packed! The DJ was really good and the crowd was dancing all night. People were yelling and screaming and it was actually a pretty wild party. I was shocked at how different this place must be on the weekends! Drinks are really expensive though. Cocktails were Manhattan prices and my boyfriend was p.o.'d about spending $6 on a beer. Next time we'll pre-game at home : P

Overall it's a nice new addition to the neighborhood.

Much needed spot for the grown ups in Williamsburg. Where else can you get a Sazerac and delicious pressed proscuitto sandwich with apple butter at 3am? Hard enough to find in Manhattan let alone Williamsburg. A place like this is long overdue out here.

Despite its "aw, shucks" name, this Williamsburg bar eschews Grandma-chic but still takes old-fashioned as a compliment.. Though you might not expect much from its desolate Grand Street digs, Huckleberry Bar gussies up the neighborhood with a mix of modern style and throwback cocktails. With three main seating areas and a back garden, there are tables a'plenty, but the many specialties behind the bar--homemade grenadine and infused vodka, rum, and vermouth--tend to keep the crowd perched at the high-backed bar stools. The overall vibe of boozy warmth also persuades drinkers to sample the eclectic goods from the kitchen.

Hits: Classics such as the sherry flip, sidecar, and Gibson ground the cocktail menu, but imaginative bartenders flex their skill with seasonal ingredients such as fennel, ginger, and lapsang souchong tea.

Misses:
Beer drinkers should find the back garden spacious and low-key, but the wood chip-strewn yard leads to wobbles that those with precious cocktails--or stiletto heels--may not appreciate.
