I LOVE THIS PLACE!

Sugs is great! The DJ plays all the hits and drinks are ideally priced. The attitude is friendly and enjoyable and they have a smoking area upstairs. Definitely a great place if you want a gay bar out of the city with a fun feel to it. Sassy dosen't work well here (trust me I try it)

I disagree with the editor's review. I have fun every time I go to Sugarland (even the "off-nights").
I love his place!
DJ Emjay and Basic Black on Saturday nights, Ernie's Friday night parties, Monday night karaoke night and the underwear party on Wednesdays- all great, fun!
Thanks Troy (Basic Black) for giving us another awesome hot spot in Williamsburg!

Hipster Friendly

Not your typical scene... lots of hipster types and artsy people. Not Chelsea or HK crowd at all.
