Fantastic Place!. I was recommended to this place by a friend in Park Slope, and I finally got there on Sunday afternoon with my cranky baby. I was going to go home because of said cranky baby but I went in hoping no one would be bothered by her wails. Well I am SO glad I did, the minute I went in I was welcomed by the sales person behind the desk with a really genuine warm smile and a hi there, how are you? I wanted to say awful but said fine, lol She then went on to ask if I needed any help finding anything, and came out and helped me find clothes, a couple of toys, and a mobile. She even held my little girl while I used the bathroom, and of course she stopped crying immediately!

I will be back when I need the next size or probably before, knowing me. A great find, just wish it was in my neighborhood!

Still Hip is a neighborhood institution!. Still Hip has become such an important fixture in Fort Greene/Clinton Hill. I always check there first when I need something for my children or a gift. Why buy new when you can reuse? The store is a great destination for kids activities and they throw awesome block parties with something for everyone. And you have to check out the bag sales! If you are expecting or already have children, before you shell out the big bucks for a new item. Go there first!

Gone down hill. I want to love this store, but over the past year it has gotten dumpy. I went in last week and the place was messy and is starting to smell musty. I know that happens in second hand stores, but overall the place is a bit dirty. I wish they would concentrate on providing good second hand clothes rather than filling every corner with junk. There prices can be high too. When it opened it was clean and fresh, but maybe time has caught up with it and this is what happens to all second hand stores. It's a great idea but they need a good clean, come on now.

Brooklyn's best children's store!. Still Hip is a life saver for me. I love and appreciate brand name cloth and shoes but it's hard for me to spend $60.00 on a pair of shoes my daughter will only wear for a couple of months, if I'm lucky. So..Still Hip to the rescue!

It's my go to for quality cloth and shoes. I got my 2 year old a pair of Geox sneakers for $12.00 when they can cost about $60.00! I have also found great toys and gifts.

I love Gaby, the owner, she greets you by name, is super helpful and very good at what she does. Even though the stuff is not new It's hard to tell with most things. Gaby only puts out merchandise that is in good condition and offers interesting fun classes for children.

Fort Green/Clinton Hill, needs more kid friendly places like Still Hip. Places where a parent can go to shop without having to deal with the mall and register their child in a fun class.

i had a wonderful shopping experience over at still hip in brooklyn. i was looking for something fun for my daughters and was pleasantly surprised to see how much fun they had shopping... they HATE shopping!

they had a little coin-operated pony ride outside and i also liked how friendly the woman behind the counter was. will definitely return next time i'm in brooklyn.

Still Hip gave Me Hope. With one child I was able to lavished her with gifts of all sorts. But now that I am with child feared that both of my children wouldn't be equal, until I step into Still Hip. I fell in love. I am still able to purchase all of the great quality brands and save allot of money. Shout Outs to Gabby, Co- Owner of Still Hip.

great spot. It is ridiculous to buy kids new clothes and stil hip has solved the problem for brookyn fams. I can always find something in good shape here for my babe. yay

A Great Store - terrific deals, fabulous local moms, wonderful classes!. I love Still Hip and I am so thankful it opened! I buy clothing, toys, and books for my kids there and always check out what they have first when the kids need something new. There materinity selection is also really nice and I enjoyed that before my son was born. Cloth diapers, slings, gear and more are regularly available at much less than retail prices. Plus, they have a full selection of classes available for kids and they are very reasonably priced!

Everyone is always so nice to me in the store. If find that staff to be very helpful and very patient with my children.

Unpleasant employee. I have been to the store a few times and like their stuff. I have had a very good experience my first visits. My last experience was very different. I came in and the woman behind the desk, Tatiyana is what someone called her, was bad tempered and was complaining about someone, not caring that we were in the store. I am posting this because a friend in a mommy group said she had a similar encounter. The whole vibe was negative so we left.
