the next downtown manhattan in bay ridge brooklyn.. i was surprised this "artistic" salon in my neighborhood, the place is small/cute and has the art gallery vibe. my first time walk in and had christina my stylist. i think she is amazing, love her when she ask me questions and gave me some feedback. i don't consider it dumb questions. normally most stylists just humble and chop chop chop...she may be new and slightly slow but we both work really well together. in the end of the day, it is important to have the hair style you want to walk out of the salon, right? i would definiety come back and book with her again. the people who work there seem cool and real "artistic" type.

what happened????!!!!?????!!!!!. i've been a client at spin for two years now and i love it. i went in the other day to get my hair cut and i was shocked. they have a new owner and the vibe of the salon has totally changed. i dont like it. it used to be so laidback and welcoming, now its turning into every other salon in bay ridge. i cant stand it ! since when is wearing all black and looking the same creative. i felt like i should be making a deposit at the bank not getting a haircut. its a shame cause i love the stylists there. i'm going to try to go for as long as i can take it.

A great surprise!!!. A great neighborhood salon with knowledgeable and creative stylists. The colorist and stylist that worked on my hair were very friendly and really listened to what I wanted. I left with the most AMAZING results. The salon was recommended by a friend. I work and live in Bay Ridge and don't have time to go into the city to get my hair done. But since I found Spin,I feel like I am in a city salon but without the pretenious and rushed feel of the city and so close to home. It has a great ambience. And another plus,is that they carry Bumble& Bumble and now Aveda,which I also usually have to get in the city. I will now be passing on my recommendation and will definitely be back.

Dye with No Regrets!. The "botched" color job i gave to myself, really ruined my hair and my confidence. A friends recommendation sent me to Spin. It was the best advice i ever got! The customer service was great. Everyone was so friendly. The colorists were very knowledgeable and honest. They worked with me & my preferences.And I left with my color and confidence restored.

best haircut in brooklyn. when i first moved to bay ridge i was terrified by all the pretensious mega spa salons ,then a friend told me about spin ,i checked them out online and was so happy to learn they were bumble trained ,i used to get my cuts at bummble and now i dont have to travel for the same quality and i save money on the cut so i can buy more prducts!!!!!!!

best in brooklyn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. great atmosphere and people. they don't make you feel uncomfortable. the stylist knew exactly what to do and it was nice to get what you want for a change(a person who listens!) they recommended products that work well with my hair, which is hard cause its really curly. i love it. i will never go back to the city again, pay crazy prices and not love it. spin is the place to go no matter what you want. oh yeah did i mention i love my hair!!!

great trendy haircuts. I love getting my haircut at spin!! It's always a great experience there. Any hair cut i request, they can always deliver!! No matter how "trendy, or edgy" it can be!! The place has a good city like vibe, and a very edgy/urban feel!! Most of all, they carry all of the bumble & bumble products, as well as aveda. I love aveda!
