Great clothes; great service.
This small shop is the perfect place for comfortable but stylish t-shirts, pants and dresses. There's a lot of Velvet (like at most boutiques in Brooklyn), but the owner manages to stock their most sophisticated styles. She also seeks out lesser-known designers, such as Duarte, and offers a limited but interesting selection of understated jewelry, colorful scarves and other accessories. She also carries a few fun pieces for kids (like silver sandals!) Besides having great taste, the owner is very friendly and helpful—she’s more than happy to place a special order if she doesn’t have your size. Highly recommended.

Simply chic clothing for artsy girls at this Fort Greene boutique..
In Short
It's fitting that BAM-going Brooklynites would need a nearby boutique to fit their smart, unassuming and stylish personas. Citified tree huggers will love the abundance of Stewart and Brown, an environmentally friendly label that uses organic fabrics for a clean, classic look. A slinky green tunic from Velvet by Graham & Spencer, a boho-style pleated cotton blouse from MIMO and Wrangler jeans are just a few of the many finds at this small spot filled with a comforting wood interior and relaxing alt rock.
Hits
In a neighborhood not exactly known for its shopping, Cloth provides some very fashion-forward labels that avoid clashing with the area's understated vibe.
Misses
The cotton and hemp bags from brands like Stewart and Brown are so cool that you'll wish the store had a bigger handbag selection.
