In Short – The cafe's owners now live in nearby Clinton Hill, but when they lived in the 'hood, they couldn't find a place to buy coffee beans. That frustration turned into this tiny cafe, where beans are displayed in the back corner in barrels and a small selection of breakfast and snack items--croissants, bagels, muffins, cookies--appear up front. Coffee is also available by the cup, and it's all organic Fair Trade from Brooklyn's Gillies, as is the tea. A small bench outside provides a nice outdoor perch. –
