Tiny bean and brew cafe off Fort Greene's beaten path.. In Short
The cafe's owners now live in nearby Clinton Hill, but when they lived in the 'hood, they couldn't find a place to buy coffee beans. That frustration turned into this tiny cafe, where beans are displayed in the back corner in barrels and a small selection of breakfast and snack items--croissants, bagels, muffins, cookies--appear up front. Coffee is also available by the cup, and it's all organic Fair Trade from Brooklyn's Gillies, as is the tea. A small bench outside provides a nice outdoor perch.
