Great Bar.
I was so happy when I discovered this place. The atmosphere is pleasant, it's typically not overcrowded, and the crowd seems slightly mroe mature than many other Greenpoint bars and certainly more so than most in Williamsburg. The beer choices are the real reason to come, though. There are always many intruiging choices and helpful, knowledgeable bartenders to make suggestions. I love this place.

A beer-focused Brooklyn bar that realizes great brew doesn't necessarily have to be high in alcohol..
The owners of this Greenpoint bar are pushing the doctrine of "session beers," that is, beer that one can drink multiples of and still win at the shuffleboard table. So, strong ales like the dark bottled Oerbier from Belguim are on the menu alongside lighter tastes like the Harviestoun Bitter and Twisted from Scotland. Beer fans--especially of U.S., Belgium, German and English brews--can make friends at the bar, bring their own to the table seating, or shoot Quiots (NYC-sized horseshoes) in the backyard garden.

The Diamond shines.
I love choosing from the intense beer selection here thanks to the hilarious
and knowledgeable owner Dave (plus I love the adorable mini glasses for free
sampling). The fun continues at the shuffleboard table and the Quoits court
in the cute multicolored lit backyard.
