Too inconsistent to rely on. Aaron is talented, that we know. But you can't bring your stuff here if you really care about having it done right and on time. He only does a good job some of the time, or maybe for certain customers? At his whim? I don't know, but I'm tired of returning three times for my stuff, which is usually buried under a pile of crap. How about getting a system going for keeping track of your work? I am patient and kind, but this guy has infuriated me too many times. I'm now a former customer of his.

Avoid!. I took two skirts in here to be altered on a Saturday, and was told they'd be ready the following Saturday. When I went in to collect them, I was told that they weren't done yet but they'd be sure to finish them later that day. When I arrived on Monday evening, however, the skirts still weren't ready, and I was promised they'd be ready on Tuesday. So I turned up on Tuesday -- low and behold, they still weren't done, in fact, they hadn't even been started! No apologies at all. I was then magically told they could be done within the hour, which they were, but in a very sloppy fashion. I won't be going back.

Best Tailor in Close-in Brooklyn. Just got two pairs of pants altered at the waist and cuffed, and a suit coat taken in. Work was perfect, inexpensive and finished when promised. Garments were brushed, pressed and hung on a high quality hanger with a plastic cover. The kicker is that he is open until 8PM during the week. Apparently he can make suits from scratch and do other custom work, but that is a little out of my price range these days.

Don't bother with chinatown or the overrun loisaida places. This guy is expert, mellow, reasonable and around the corner.
