Maybe a little TOO laid back...

I hired Rabbit movers recently after reading really positive reviews on a few sites. The guys did an awesome job and were very pleasant to deal with.

My complaint is actually with the office. I asked for an estimate via email, so I have a written record of the hourly rate quoted. The day of the move, while my stuff was being loaded on the truck, I was told it was a different price. Since my computer was in a box, I thought maybe I had remember incorrectly and signed the forms.

Needless to say, when I double checked the estimate. I had been overcharged. I've called Rabbit twice over the last two weeks to ask them to adjust the price and they keep saying they'll do it, but I still haven't received the difference refunded to my credit card. Its pretty annoying since this was their mistake and it shouldn't have happened in the first place.

I don't think I can recommend a company that overcharges people and doesn't make it right.

Great guys, great movers

We hada great experience with these guys, and highly recommend them. They're not your typical movers - mainly college students, artists, musicians, actors working this second job. As a result they are very respectful of your property and pack things carefully, conscientiously, and pleasantly. E.g., we had a lot of artwork we wanted wrapped in plastic, then bubble wrap, then cardboard, which they diligently did (even when we weren't looking). They were also very careful and well-trained in padding the large furniture items.

The office staff was organized and punctual in returning calls - however it's important to call them back pre-move and clarify how much packing there is. Rabbit underestimated our packing needs and didn't bring enough bubble wrap, paper or boxes. Some time was spent less efficiently than possible waiting on more supplies to arrive. Not the actual movers fault, but in your move you'd want to avoid this.

Anyways once a roll of bubble wrap the size of Mt Vesuvius arrived, we were good to go. We were running a bit late but a 5th guy showed up midway. End result was we moved the boxes into storage right on the 6:00pm deadline. Again, we were quite pleased, they exceeded expectations and we highly recommend them.

Highly recommended!

I selected Rabbit based on reviews I read on another website. They were wonderful, from making a reservation through the actual move. The office staff are quick to answer the phone and respond to emails. They gave me an accurate estimate and answered ALL of my questions. On the day of the move, we had the afternoon time slot (which I highly recommend if you don't like to get up early on moving day), and they called us to say they were running a bit late. They still arrived within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, the movers were incredibly friendly and efficient. It was our most painless move.
