Bad Day?. Sorry to say, stopped in to store to purchase suitcase since I am traveling in a couple of days....male staff person , I did not get his name, but he has black hair, with moustache, standing at the front counter was busy counting coins...paid no attention to me, answered questions from the front of the store....made no effort to assist me when I was considering buying a $300 suitcase...focused on counting coins... It was obvious he had no interest in making a sale, and not at all disturbed that I left commenting "let me know when you are interested in doing business, maybe I will come back."

The shop has very beautiful items, unfortunately, they need to reconsider who is there to help customers.

fun products, and helpful staff. Love the Flight 001 store in Carroll Gardens. The staff was extremely helpful, and offered to special order several products for me.

Great design, knowledgable and fun sales staff, crowded on weekends. I've been going to Flight 001 in the Village for years and when I discovered this store opening within 5 blocks of my Brooklyn apartment, i was overjoyed. I have had awesome experiences whether i was making a purchase (several christmas gifts, and a suitcase for myself) or just browsing and passing time. The employees strike the right note of helpful but not overbearing and in general seem like cool people. The store bears the same general design of the village store, but with one major difference-- this one is clean and uncluttered. :)

Travel goods for the voyager who wants to see the world--and do it in style.. In Short
The second of the travel company's New York stores is designed with a '60s retro flair. Vintage universal travel symbols remind one of travel days gone by, but the merchandise is very 21st century. Leather-bound miniature sketch books, soothing aromatherapy products for the weary traveler and over-the-shoulder bags from the latest urban lines to ensure that no one will peg you as a tasteless American. The usual comfort and safety items--head pillows, alarm clocks, ear plugs--are available, most with a high-design twist.
