Average quality food - terrible service.
I have had high quality sushi at better prices than at this restaurant. The sushi and entrees aren't terrible, they are made adequately. But the main discomfort of the place are their main waitress could be more courteous to customers, such as don't ignore someone when they say "excuse me" to get her attention. Also, the sushi chefs behind the bar could be less obnoxious. If customers are sitting at a table talking then let them finish their conversation, pay their bill and leave , especially if the place isn't crowded and there aren't any people waiting for a table- instead of commenting out loud that they've been sitting their for a long time. Switching to a Chinese dialect on assumption that they won't understand is even more insulting.

This miniscule sushi joint does big delivery business in Clinton Hill..
In Short
One of the more popular delivery options in Clinton Hill, Yamashiro sends fresh, reasonably priced sushi out from its tiny storefront on Myrtle Avenue. Dining in is also an option: A handful of wooden tables and a doll-sized sushi bar crowd the tiny space dominated by a huge tile wall. The menu rounds out the usual suspects with a few unique options, such as a roll made with rice paper, and also offers teriyaki, katsu and yakkitori.
