The customer service reps were so proffessional, upfront, HONEST, helpful. They gave me a flat rate quote for my move. I was really afraid that the day of the move, they were going to *spring* new charges on me, as has been my experience with every other mover in this city. But there were no additional charges- the quote they gave me is what they charged me. The move itself was flawless- the guys were punctual and professional. They did they job really fast, but most importantly they DID NOT BREAK A THING!!!! And I live on a fourth floor walk-up and own a piano! They moved everything, with no problem, no stress, no complaints, no hidden fees. The whole experience was stress-free.NY Moving Company

Great experience. I used Brooklyn Packing Movers- Loading UnLoading to pack and move the entire contents of our 1-bedroom, 1.5 bath duplex in the W. Village to Brooklyn. The quote, from which they did not deviate, was $400 cheaper than what Flatrate had quoted me. The movers were more or less on-time, and were very friendly and professional. The foreman was a little grumpy, but I think that was just his disposition. The rest of the guys could not have been nicer. They started the job around 9:00 AM and had everything packed and on the truck at around 2:00, and were done unloading in Brooklyn around 6:00. I moved a few weeks ago, and wanted to wait until I unpacked everything before writing this review, to ensure that nothing was missing or broken. Everything, including our china, was meticulously wrapped, boxed and labeled. Nothing was broken and nothing is missing. Really solid job. A few words of advice when dealing with them, based on other reviews I have read: Make sure to get an on-site, in-person estimate. Get them to write in a email that they will not deviate from that estimate, and that there will be no hidden additional costs. They didn't try to up the price or tack on any extra costs with us, but I still think this is a wise precaution to take. Also, be prepared to tip. The crew wasn't pushy about it at all, but I am sure it is expected. We tipped $200 for a 4-man crew, on a job that cost $1560. And again, the job took about 9 hours.…

A great experience!. The skies opened up and down dropped the key (thank you Erika). I called back and we rescheduled for noon. I huddled in the dark nursing my horrible hangover and they showed up right on time at the unit. These 3 guys had all my stuff in the truck in less than 45 minutes. I met them at the apartment and they dragged my apartment up a 5 floor walk without a peep. These guys were so professional, so gracious that I almost cried when they told me that my cost was only $375 - the bare minimum charge - for the entire ordeal. They didn't waste any time trying to eat up more billing hours and they seemed surprised even when I tipped. All in all...a great experience despite my best efforts to ruin my move.…

I have plenty of antiques and other valuables in the four-bedroom home. The employees arrived on time, were mannerly, and completed a walkthrough of the home before beginning. All items were inspected and previous damage was noted or brought to my attention before wrapping and loading. The blanket pads and shrink wrap provided the extra protection I desired for my things. I used two trucks and six men on a Sunday move. This was the first time a moving company has suggested this and I was grateful for the sound approach. Before unloading, the entire crew walked through the new home and asked where things were going to be located. This was also appreciated as everyone was now on the same page. I was completely satisfied with the move. Nothing was damaged and the employees were very professional and courteous.…
