Great All Around Dining Experience. I came to Cheryl's a few weeks ago with a group of friends and it was an absolute blast. The food and vibe of the restaurant were a welcome surprise. I had the grilled pork chops and they were the best pork chops i have had in a long, long time. the waiter and the rest of the staff really made us feel welcome from the second we walked in. can't wait to go back

Flavor you crave.. I've been to Cheryl's numerous times with family and friends so it's a wonder that I'm just reviewing it now. When I moved to Brooklyn I was blessed with Cheryl's which is literally right next to my apartment. I've been there so many times that the hostesses actually know me by name. It's my go to place for brunch and just recently my boyfriend and I made our friends Alex and Mike walk from 16th and Prospect over to Cheryl's for brunch. We promised it wouldn't disappoint and of course they didn't. We were seated promptly especially for a Saturday Brunch. The waitress came over and took our drink orders (they serve memosas or bloody mary's with brunch) and it didn't take long for the four of us to decide what we wanted to eat. The restaurant itself is small but the decor is unique with light wood planned walls, world music, old videos playing behind the bar and candles on the tables for ambiance at night. Back to brunch,

Alex and I got eggs with chicken sausage (yes! chicken sausage yum! They have pork sausage too, it is soul food after all) toast and hash browns. Mike got the French Toast and my boyfriend Danny got the pancakes (which I've uploaded a picture of and oh my god are they delicious!) I should know I ate 1/2 of them. All of the dishes at Cheryls are delectable. I'll of course be going back and because of Yelp, I now know they have a garden so next time I'll feast outside. Cant wait! Oh, and I almost forgot. One of the best things about Cheryl's is, Cheryl actually meets and greets her customers (usually on Sunday's) which brings a great personal touch to the place.

Outstanding Cuisine...Lovely Chef/Host Cheryl...Welcoming !!. From a fan

Who watched you religiously when you were on Food TV Network the only persons of color. I want to share w/future patrons how wonderful an experience I had @ Cheryl's yesterday on my Birthday.

Whomever is looking for a meal that you won't forget then you must check out Cheryl's. All I can say is you will enjoy her cuisine from appetizer to dessert. I knew that I was in for a pleasant meal but what I indulged was pure satisfaction and then some!!!

From my grilled (real grilled flavor) spicy chicken wings to my awesome tasty/well marinated/spicy basil sauted Shrimps I was literally w/every bit Oh..Ohing and Ahing which = true pleasure. I capped off the meal w/the BEST Peach Cobbler to date. The crust was excellent the Peachs+Sauce was perfect not too sweet ...LOVED IT.

You truly have mastered the art of cooking!!! Your food is amongst the BEST Global Soul Cuisine that I've put my lips to!

To finally meet you and indulge in a PLEASANT MEAL was a PLEASURE which made my Birthday memorable.

See ya next week for Brunch. Looking forward to stuffing my face w/your Yummy food. My hips aren't too happy I'll + more time in the GYM:) :) :)

Thank you for the experience and I wants some mo!!!

Continued Success!!!

Good Food, Good Fun, Yumm Yumm. The food at Cheryl's is delicious! The burger and fries is the classiest burger in town. The red velvet cupcake was yummy too. I went during brunch and was seated immediately not too crowded. The staff was pleasant, Cheryl is always a warm and inviting host. My daughter loved her pancakes and rich ice cream, and I must say it was very good. Not everyone can make pancakes!! The bathroom was clean. The food was a little slow coming out but i rather have my food take it's time cause it's fresh instead of an out of the box mediocre meal any day. Happy Eating!

Wonderful Service, Wonderful Food. My family and I had a great time at Cheryl's and the service was wonderful. No rushing us out, quick service, and friendly atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. I ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Cheryl's and all the meals were wonderful.

By the way, citysearch apparently thinks that "J-rk" (pronounce Jurk) in "J-rk Chicken" is an inappropiate word so it won't let me use it!

"we need your table girls". This was my first time going here and probably my last. Once seated we were given about 2 seconds to look at the menu and decide what we wanted. Food came quickly, which is great when you are hungry, but then the check came immediately. As soon as we finished eating, the owner came by to say "We need your table girls." We were practically escorted out as soon as we paid the check. I understand the need to have tables turn over, but this is just rude.

Great brunch, cool owner!. I've only been to Cheryl's a few times, but I've always been pleased with the food and service at Cheryl's. Everybody seems to know everybody and all the little kids love Cheryl. Even the staff are really laidback and easy going and it always makes me feel at ease being there. And of course the food is delicious! Great French Toast and a nice mug of tea sent me right back to bed for my Sunday nap. LOL...Thanks Cheryl for a great space!
