An experimental art space in Brooklyn hosts some of the biggest parties this side of the East River..
This is the quintessential Williamsburg experience: An unassuming entrance on a deserted industrial street leads to a bustling, two-story performance space where hipsters down cheap beer while listening to the next big thing. Glasslands has an informal, art-school vibe due to the vibrant paintings covering the walls and free-for-all paint room upstairs. Everything from live music to film screenings to DJ dance nights fill the calendar, while drinks ranging from $3 cans of Miller to Sierra Nevada on tap to glasses of Pino Grigio make up the drink menu.
