don't bring your kids. Well i took my lil girl to get her bangs cut and got more than i wanted. The guy cutting her hair(tamair or whatever) was acting funny and useing real bad curse words in front of my lil girl!!! then afterward she told me he was really ruff and never wants to go back..well she wont have to worry about that!
what the hell happened?. Well i read a old reviews and was like why not see if this place is all its cracked up to be,,, no it was not. The guy tammir was not in touch with cool hair cuts. i ask for a rocka billy and got a bed looking thing on my head that i went home and cut right off with my own buzzers.. I told him what i wanted and he did what he thought was good.. I'm so upset and i have this new girl i"ve been dating, i just hope she don't think I'm some freak with my bald head:( man i'm so upset ! STAY AWAY FROM THIS AWFULL PLACE! I'M NEW IN TOWN WHAT A WELCOME
tch-ya boy-ee. Reggae, candy, and getting a dope haircut are 3 great things you will find here. When i first moved to the area, i was sitting at a local bar and asked the bartender if he knew of any good spots to get a haircut. he told me he cuts his own hair (no surprise there) but proceeded to ask around the bar. he came back 10 minutes later and told me that everyone in the bar cuts their own hair!!! that's williamsburg for you. so if you want "different" and get your hair cut by a professional, hitup Tamir at the emporium.
Best Service. Brooklyn General Barber is a great place for a haircut and some snacks. Tamir Kraft has always provided wonderful service and a remarkable haircut. Since moving to Washington, I go to Brooklyn once a month for a haircut by Tamir. Tamir, you are an asset to the Williamsburg community, keep up the great work.
Beautiful haircut!! I'm so happy!.
I wasn't planning on cutting my hair but changed my mind when I passed by this shop and saw Magda through the window. She looked like she knew what she was doing. I wanted to still keep my hair long just needed a little something to give it shape. She understood me,,, strategically cut into the hair to give it movement and a flattering shape. I feel HOT!! Thats all it matters. Love it! I think shes only there Mon-Wed.
Thank YOU Girl!
Great Cut,Fun Place. I just left brooklyn general barbershop and had to tell everyone about it!!!! let me start with saying how difficult it has been finding a place that actually know how to cut hair,i have two bi-racial kids and it has been a real challenge to find someone who can actually cut curly hair and that man did an amazing job on both of them, most barbers just buzz their hair off, whereas this guy actually did as i asked and gave them a trim with scissors so they can still keep their nice curls. In addition he made the whole experience full of fun and excitement for my kids. they have this incredible airplane chair for the kids and the barber kept on spinning them with the chair, blowing bubbles at them and just making it a real fun experience.plus he was extremely patient even with my uncooperative child. My kids talked about the plane and the barber all the way home, they can't wait to go back to see the "barber" as they call him.makes me wish i was due for a hair cut, which is exactly where i will go next time. brooklyn general barbeshop is the NEW place for me and my kids to go to!!!!!
The coolest spot in williamsburg, the best cut GGRRREEEAAATT price!!!!!. What a fantastick place!!!!! i just got the BEST fade EVER, and an amazing beard trim to go with it,no one has ever trimmed my beard with such precision and skill, and the neck shave with hot lather...AMAZING... especially in these crisp days we been having. That guy definitely knows how to cut hair.and the atmosphere is just the cherry on top, an old school barbershop with tons of old school candies. i highly recommend it to all of u guys, the perfect blend of old barbering with todays trends for CHEAP,yes in nyc!!! You must check it out.
terrible buzz cut. The guy there on Thursday did a really terrible job. My clipper cut was extremely sloppy, all kinds of uneven patches and rough transitions. They might be better for scissor cuts, but the buzz cut was the worst. I had to correct the worst mistakes myself when I got home. I'm not sure if the guy was just incompetent or trying to be a screw me on purpose.
Dear Sir,
When on friday, we discussed on the phone your unhappiness with the BEARD TRIM ; we ALL agree (barber,me,and you) that it was not a great job.
My understanding, as per you, was that there was a "dibit" in your sideburns that took some of the longer hairs of your longish hair cut.
Since you did not get a "sloppy clipper cut", I urge you to re-tell your story , once again .
Make it as mean as you want, but please tell the truth. This Barber does the best clipper cuts, fades, low cuts and such in the neighborhood and doesn't deserve to be judged of the wrong offense.
There is a HUGE difference between the two.
The review as written is well, an unfortunate choice , in your re-telling of the story.
Please take a moment to reflect, then correct.
Thanks, the owner
