Good burger. Nice to sit outside and the burgers are great. The service is pretty SLOOOOOOOW. It's also expensive-ish. Great beer selection.

Burgers!. The burgers are delightfully seasoned. The waitress, Brenda is the sweetest. The problem: the other staff are kind of weird sometimes and a bit rude. One other thing is that it's very dark and sad in there if the sun isn't out.

best burger. Downtown Burger hits the spot on Court Street. Since its opening in May of 2006, DBG has quickly gained a loyal following of adults who dig the fresh burgers ,excellent nachos, the service is frendly, very clean restaurant and bathrooms

great place to be. 09/28/2009. Where else can you find a huge selection of beer mixed with one of the best food i had in this place, There is really nothing like downtown bar in the area and not only the food is good the service was excellent,try the burgers they are very tasty ..and add a beer from the twenty taps they have .

Best Bar in Brooklyn and New York City. I was at Downtown Bar & Grill couple weeks ago and each time i come to NY i go there!!! the burger and the chili nachos are amazing..... and the beer selection it's huge any over 700 bottle of beer 20 diffrent tap nothing ordinary, the atmosphere is very nice the waitresses very friendly. if you want to enjoy your meal with a beer go there. Its the best Bar in town.

Angus it's not!!!. I ordered the Downtown Black Angus burger what I got felt like a frozen generic burger cooked and served disguised as an Angus burger, it was not freshly made. It was not an Angus burger I am used to. If anyone feels they are getting a Angus burger from here they don't get out much. MC Donald's serves a better Angus burger. Overall nothing special about my meal. Overpriced to boot.

Arrogant, Waaaay Overpriced!. are they kidding with their prices? apparently not. what a bunch of outright thieves! do not go here. there are plenty of better places not too far away. brazen head, pacific standard, eg. are they kidding? how stupid do they think we are? they absolutely gouge prices on even average, easy-to-find beers. and what's written here about their service is pretty accurate. they really don't want your patronage. so don't give it to them.

Good time. I came here the other weekend with a bunch of friends who were visiting from out of town and we just wanted to go somewhere local and la*d back. Downtown has a lot of beer and that is what we were looking for. The food is typical american food and is pretty decent. We sat outside and it was nice to have that option. I didn't really find the beer or food to be that expensive. I guess it all depends on the kind of person that you are. We had a good time and it is a nice place to chill in the neighborhood.

Absurdly High Prices - "If you don't like it, leave!" attitude!. Be prepared to pay top $ for any beer the owner deems "specialty," and don't assume you will be getting a pint for that top dollar. Food is adequate, and you can find similar fare served in neighboring bar/pubs for much less than at Downtown. So, if you have alot of expendable cash, and don't mind helping to pad the owner's pockets, you will love it here. If you want a decent night on the town, go elsewhere, because the only pleasure here is the outdoor seating where you can people watch.
