You will not regret coming here, in fact you'll want to come here again and again

by teenhamodic at Citysearch

this place is exceptional beyond belief. the setting is contemporary and fashionable. the food is a mix of asian and american food but you would think after being seated its strictly a chinese restaurant, but dont be fooled ! i came here for lunch and dinner on many occasions and believe me when i tell you that you will not be disappointed with either occasion. one word of advice: the calamari is better with two people than one person. why? because the price is unbelievably cheap (6 dollars) but for the price they give you such a quantity you'll have to pass on the entree because you're stuffed. all the deserts are as if you were eating at one of those fancy restaurants in manhattan but you can find it here! plus it wont cost you an arm and a leg for it either. this is one of brooklyn's best places to eat on a budget. it's not at all romantic but its a nice place to take a date

  • Pros: everything
  • Cons: the place is strictly cash only

Great, great food

You will not regret going down to Bensonhurst for dinner at this restaurant. The setting is cozy, comfortable, and warm. The waiters are friendly. This is a Chinese restaurant, but it serves Hong-Kong styled westernized food. Very unique.

Start with the lobster soup, which is served in a bowl with crunchy bread covering the bowl. All you have to do is dip the bread into the soup, and it'll be the best made lobster soup you will ever taste.

There are many entrees to choose from. Both times I have been there, I ordered the steak. It's cooked to perfection, just the way you want it. There are other types of entrees to choose from, such as duck, chicken, or pork, except that I went right back to the steak the second time. It was juicy, tender, and it leaves a very good taste in your mouth.

Finish off your meal with the Baked Alaska. You will not regret it.

The prices are reasonable as well. I understand it is out of the way for most people, but it's no more than a 20 minute drive from Manhattan. Just take the Prospect Expwy to Ocean Parkway and get off at Bay Parkway, and you will be there in 20 short blocks.

  • Pros: Delicious, delicious three-course food

Simply Delicious

It was a wonderful experience. I ordered the pan seared duck with apple and mango sauce, the meat was perfectly cooked and the taste blends well in your month. My boyfriend had the lobster and hanger steak with green pepper corn sauce; also recommended. The food did not take long to come at all. The portions were good and beautifully presented. Dessert was fabulous, the Baked Alaska is a must try.

  • Pros: Excellent food, great value
