Great Food, Reluctant Delivery. The food is by far some of the best Indian in Brooklyn. I've only ever ordered for delivery, so can't vouch for in restaurant service. Been ordering for about a year; food is always great (especially the Biryani) but recently they've been complaining about delivering "far away"....I never knew 7 blocks was far. Despite their reluctance, they still make the 7 block trek....although you would think that after a year of regular orders they would know who I am by now and not give me that "that's far away" shpiel.

mediocre food served by mean liars.. Went to this place, the waiter was rude, we ordered a selection of food, and being vegetarians, asked if the many dishes had dairy ingredients. He assured us that none of it had and cheese, cream, butter, ghee, etc. The appetizers didn't but ALL of the main courses did. When challenged, the waiter shrugged and walked away. Never go to this place.

Good food, terrible service. My fiancee is much more experienced with Indian food then I, but I was curious, so I went with an open mind and was determined to try everything. The food itself was fine. There were a wide variety of items to choose from and nothing tasted like it was over-seasoned. Overall, the quality and price of the food was decent.

The service however was the absolute worst we have EVER experienced. Our waiter (who also appeared to be in charge) was the rudest server I have ever had. Both my fiancee and myself have served in the past, and we normally are very patient with servers. Our server at Dhaka went out of this way to be rude. For example, we ordered off the prix fixe menu and were told after the entree that we did not get dessert (even though it was included in the price.) We asked why, expecting an apology, something like "I'm sorry, we've run out," but instead we were told, "No! No dessert!" It was insane. I could not have been unhappier with the service, and honestly, I would not have believed a server would act this rudely unless I had experienced it first hand.

I will NEVER go to Dhaka again. Once was more then enough.
