My favorite place to eat.
I have been going to Naniwa since about 2005 and I loved it.
I've had man dates there and spent a lot of time there with my friends. It has a really great atmosphere and booths that accommodate from 2 - 6 people.
Compared to a lot of sushi in the area, the prices can not be beat and their fish does not taste fake or old. I also really happen to like the rice they use (it is not soggy like in a lot of sushi places).
Their Kalamari is pretty good, their bento boxes are ok (i'm not a big fan) and they have fried ice cream year round, which a lot of other sushi places don't carr.
Not the best sushi.
I live right next to Naniwa and when it first opened around 2003, it was very good, but it seems that it has changed ownership. Currently, the rolls and sushi are very small. I also doubt that they used sushi-grade fish. It's what you should expect from one of these $2.50 per roll places. Not good but not terrible either, it works for a quick lunch sometimes. Don't try to take your date here!
