Ethics and Blogging. As a lawyer and friend of a so many various posts concerning conflict or legal disputes of a former patient of Dr. Casarona, I would like to gratefully acknowledge City Search for showing class in removing potentially libelous posts. The patient in question never thought his civil rights were violated that was mentioned by some one else; however unethical conduct might have been the cause for the lack of proper care the patient received while under the care of two doctors until August, 2008 when the patient went to a new physician This will be determined by our legal system and not by irresponsible blogging.

I want to know the truth. I an Just A patient- WHY were those medical reports lost/?

Why didn't i get the video EEG monitoring? Why did I have to check my medical records to find a report ? This has nothing to do with MY civil rights as Dr.Casarona has stated, What was going on? What is still going on? It would be refreshing if someone told the truth and didn't make deals.

ONE OF A KIND. After 3 previous neurologist, Dr Casarona diligently and accurately had me diaganosed. He was relentless in persuing all avenues until he had me diaganosed and began an immediate treatment which has greatly enhanced my life once again. The time he spends with patients is beyond what any other dr I have encountered. In talking with patients he is able to find out more information that is only beneficial for THE PATIENT. He is a doctor that TRULY CARES and I will NEVER change neurologist. I travel into Manhattan to see him and have no regrets in doing so.

Stop the blogs. These blogs concerning Dr. Casarona are a mute point. First of this started because people were upset about his staff. When he saw this on the Internet, he fired his staff. As far as overbooking, his staff was responsible not him. With respect to the elderly woman, he gave her money to take a cab. Now no one needs to complain about him at Methodist. He has left his practice there, works in the City attached to a prestigious neurologiccal group, and his office closes at 8pm. Now all the bitching on this site can deal with the time punching( 5pm) show in the other offices of neurology who are more concerned about money instead of medical care. I am sure ,and I state this with total sarcasm that all of you who wined and complained will now have to deal with doctors who don't care. Have fun!

Butterflies2008 lacks credibility. First of all Butterfflies2008 you wrote three reviews of doctors in one day: Dr. Marino, Dr. Kahn, and Dr. Caserona. This is not the place to write a review of a doctor. When you do write a blog, please remember Dr. Khan is a cardiologist, not a cariologist. There are people who read this information, so please use English properly.

Dr. Caserona is one of maybe ten doctors who put NYM hospital on the map. His devotion and concern for patients is very well known. I have never known this physician to be arrogant at all .He is very professional, cares for each patient, and is extremely knowledgeable. In addition, you say there are a good number of neurologists out there. That is true, but unfortunately they work from 9-5, and care about cash. He doesn't.

As far as his staff, they are too busy helping patients to be nasty. I read your other review. Do you want to be pampered or helped? This bog lacks journalistic credibility.

Dr. Casarona is truly amazing...... Please do not listen to Butterflies 2008-clearly mediocre service, a white glove support staff and a Joe Schmo doctor is what they crave. Dr. Casarona is a professional, and there is not an arrogant bone in that mans body. Theresa is a doll. Even if the staff gets a little pushy once and a while, who cares? You try handling angry patients in your face all day, complaining about appointments!!!!

Dr. Casarona is truly one of the most throrough and caring doctors I have ever seen. I came to his office not knowing what I would hear about my condition, after being dismissed by all others as "stressed." I came out of Dr. Casarona's office with a new lease on life, as he diagnosed and explained my condition to me. True, you will wait in his office, but trust me, it is worth the wait. Dr. Casarona spends time with his patients, diagnosing the entire person and not just a piece of the problem. You actually understand what is wrong with you and do not have to "Web MD" yourself when you go home. No question is too big or too small to ask. You will get personal service and 100% focused attention.

I am thankful for Dr. Joe and all his help. I would wait 4 hours to see him if I had to, because once you are seated accross from him, the hour that Dr. Casarona spends with you is worth every minute in the waiting room.

Good Guy. Dr. Casarona's office may have a long wait time and you may spend most of your day there but in the end, it's all worth it! Don't let his staff get you mad. If they are rude, just be polite and wait until you see Dr. Casarona. Let him know how you are being treated and they will be spoken to! He is very thorough and doesn't play games. He's an all around good guy and will do his best to put your fears to rest.
