I enjoy this salon so much. For the last 4 years it has been my go to for hair care. Nicole, my stylist, does it all perms, twists, braids all with my natural hair. It is hard to find stylist you can care for natural hair. As a black woman I did search far and wide. 4 years ago I told Nicole if she does not work with my hair I will get a perm. You see at that point was a hot mess : it was fall out. My edges where hanging on barely. But Nicole brought it back to life :)

I also get great 1 hour messages for $67 ( that's a steel in park slope) and I recently started getting pedicures.

FraJean Salon will suprise you!. FraJean is a great little salon tucked into the ground floor of a brownstone. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside, the staff is professional and friendly. I've gotten my hair cut, mani/pedi and massage. I highly recommend Betty, who cuts hair expertly and quickly. Unfortunately, the salon is closed on Sunday and Monday. But give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Truly A Slice of Paradise & Reasonable at that!!. I recently moved to Park Slope from Manhattan and I am thrilled to say that I was really concerned about finding a new place for my hair, nails and waxing. A friend suggested that I try Frajean Salon and I could not be more pleased. Customer service over the top, people friendly, clean environment and so much less expensive than Manhattan! Thank you ladies for a great experience!!

facials at frajean salon. i get most of my facials at the frajean salon. maya the estetitian is just excellent. the best thing about her is her hands- gentle and skilled. i love my new face skin every time i leave frajean. the great mood i leave the salon with is complementary to the level of service i get there.

Frajean cuts hair. First off let me state that Frajean is a very good (albeit not superb) salon. But I'm a little surprised at how glowing the reviews for Frajean are. I mean, I did love my haircut and blow-out, but they swap your stylist here last minute, which I didn't like. If you schedule with someone you should be able to see that specific person. However, the salon is close to my hood and I hope they stay in business for years to come! (My A/C comment was kind of a joke.

WONDERFUL Salon !!. My sister and I went to Frajean for this first time last week and we had a greeeeat experience. I had the stylist Betty, and she did the most amazing job on my hair. I had a crown of highlights put in and they blended so well with my natural hair, but still left an impression of a completely new hair color / look. The cut was amazing too !!!! I can't rave enough about this place. The atmosphere is so friendly and warm. My sister loved her haircut too. We will be going back. Check it out, you won't regret it !!!

Hip New York Salon with small town warmth. My daughter 'turned me on' to Betty, a wonderful stylist at Frajean's, and I'm so thankful. I am impressed with how she cares for my hair. She's updated my look, making me feel great! The entire staff, including Jean, the owner, makes each customer feel special. Now my entire family - husband, daughter, son-in-law, and grandson are Frajean regulars.

Pleasant Surprises!. A month ago I wanted to try a new salon for my birthday despite my strict budget and fears of a bad experience. Frajean was filled with nothing but pleasant surprises. The customer service was fantastic. I was very abstract with my description of the cut I wanted and the stylist understood me beautifully. I left feeling great... more importantly I still feel great about my hair. Best of all I can return knowing what I want, knowing how much it is, and that what I want will be respected.

Best Haircut Ever and Great Value!. The best haircut I've ever had and the most affordable. Very friendly staff and great free bonus treatments like deep conditioning treatments. I definetly plan to return.
