What People Are Saying About Mango Thai

In Short – This Thai restaurant in Park Slope tries its best to lure locals with loungy decor and spaced-out trance music. And though the room often sits empty, Mango's curries, noodles, and wok dishes still get carted away on delivery bikes at ravenous speed. The kitchen also branches out with "specialties" like crab-fried rice with orange sauce and the Brooklyn Basil--a busy stir-fry of squid, mussels, onion, basil and roasted chile sauce. If you do decide to eat in, you'll be well-attended, and in summer months there's a breezy patio out back.
Nice and affordable Thai

They have good sized portions especially for the price. So far I've tried the Glass Noodles with crispy duck and the Masaman with Salmon. Their curry had a really nice flavor and the crispy duck was actually crispy! All in all I would definitely recommend it. It is the best Thai food I've had in a long time.
- Pros: tasty, price

I love this place. It was the best thing about moving to Park slope when. When I moved out of the neighborhood I was so excited they still delivered to my area. I think this is the most delicious Thai food I've found in Brooklyn! I've sampled both vegetarian and meat dishes and several appetizers and have never been disappointed. Portion size is very generous. The service is absolutely fantastic. I have to say their Pad Thai and mix seafood with basil sauce are very amazing for me.
- Pros: good food, great price
Dissapointed

I've tried this place for a couple times in the past but lately it's been dissapointing. The teste is inconsistant I used to like pad thai but not anymore, noodles are swiming in the souce. I also was not impressed seafood, it was no prepared right and taste fishy. I was disgusted by the curry puff that has broken in the fry oil and soaked all the oil was served on my dish. ewwww.
I started exploring other thai restaurants.
- Pros: affordable price
- Cons: inconsistant taste
