Tips for Polish Nail Salon

I've found a place I love!! Clean & friendly staff. I was actually going to try another nail salon but they were packed (it was Saturday afternoon) so i walked up the block & came to Polish. Polish was pretty busy as well but I waited maybe 5 minutes, if even that much before i was seated. the regular man-pedi is a steal at $20 every day, this is now my spot. i usually go to a place in Manhattan by my job but I've been looking for someplace in BK so that i can stay close to home. the women are friendly & very customer service oriented. you might pay $20 but they treat you as if you're spending $500!. to the poster that said they felt rush, that's so untrue. i didn't feel rushed at all, if anything i didn't realize how long i was there until i looked at my watch upon leaving. i have to agree with one of the other posters, it's like a spa experience in there. i don't know if they have soundproofing on the windows but when you're inside you don't hear any of the traffic noises on 5th ave, it's like an oasis when you step inside. i am picky about where i do my nails because i got an infection from some cheap place years ago that looking back, wasn't very clean but i was a college kid looking to save $ :), what did i know?. so i look for clean places, i look for the the uv/sterilization ovens, etc before i even get anything done & they have all of those things. i will bring my friends & family here. i will only stop going here if i move out of NY! absolutely love this place!

My absolute favorite nail place. This is bar none, my favorite nail salon in Manhattan and I got to go for FREE this past weekend cuz I got gifted a LuxeNow nail salon giftcard recently (it’s like SpaFinder, but for nail salons you can use all over the city, check it out at www.LuxeNow) . it is cute, cozy, and most importantly, very clean. They open new mini packages of sterilized nail tools right in front of you, which is about as good as you can get on that front. They are so sweet, and the ladies working there are very professional and meticulous. The one draw back is that they do take a while to get everything done--it's much more of a spa experience than an in-and-out nail painting--but it's totally relaxing and worth every minute.

Your nails and back will thank you. You so can't go wrong for $20. The women are great, the service is great, none of that toxic nasty stuff or noxious fumes or horrible lighting here. I've been a regular for years. So personal and - get yourself a ten minute massage and let your body leave the earth for a while.

Decent and cheap manicures. This isn't my favorite place to go in Park Slope for manicures, but they definitely do a good job. Felt a little bit rushed and wish they took a little longer; but they did do a good job. Does get extremely crowded so plan to go during off hours.

A bargain for quality service. Polish nail salon is a great--awesome--addition to Park Slopes. It uses top notch products and its spa pedicure is one of the best. (I love the exfoliator they use; it gets all my dry skin.) It gets busy on weekends and in the evenings though; hence, i stop by Sat. mornings and weekday early evenings.
