Very Nice Restaurant... – The food was served fast and tasty. Bar is small but very nice. It was a fun time with good service.
Great place for Friday Night Dinner – Miracle Grill is a casual, yet upscale little place with quality food and great ambience.
With its stained glass covered patio area and comforting food selection, Miracle Grill is a great place to relax with friends on a weekend night.
Not as good as the original Miracle Grill – Having long ago been a fairly regular customer at Miracle Grill in the East Village (and an occasional one at the other Manhattan location) I was psyched when this place opened up.... I remembered little miracles on every plate. I went several times to this location on 7th Ave before facing up to the fact that this latest incarnation just ain't as good as the original. The more 'everyday' dishes, like quesadillas and nachos, are just flat-out boring. The cheese tastes like the supermarket processed variety, and there are no sauces or flavors that are special. You could easily make these yourself at home. If you order something a bit more unusual, like the linguica breakfast burrito offered at brunch, you will do better. In fact, the breakfast burrito is really pretty good. Sadly though, too many entrees at both brunch and dinner fall flat. The margs are pretty good, and the outside patio is really nice. The inside seating area is a bit too bright, loud, and plain, though. Miracle Grill is OK, but a much better choice is Barrio, right across the street.
Fantastic Food – Great food, great atmosphere. Best fish tacos ever, no exaggeration! And everything else we had was fantastic as well. Highly recommended.
Best nachos in Park Slope! – Great prices, and a cool atmosphere. They serve the best, biggest, most delicious nachos anywhere! The staff is always friendly, and never rushed. The food is reasonably priced, and they have a lovely outdoor area. Great for large groups too.
General din drowns out screaming yuppie children – This place is generally loud enough that the screaming of yuppie kids is generally subsumed in the general din. New yuppie trend ? 2 families out together, adults at one end of the table and kids at the other, to make sure that they can?t be properly supervised. Have another margarita ? they are excellent.
Wonderful Park Slope Restaurant – This is my first City Search review. I decided to start reviewing places I love when I started seeing so many negative reviews. My boyfriend and I live around the corner from Miracle Grill and, although there are so many great restaurants in the area, have a hard time not going there every time we go out. Whether for brunch or dinner, everything we have ordered has been wonderful. My favorite is the seared tuna salad on the brunch menu. The service is friendly and attentive, the atmosphere lively and casual and there's a great variety of specialty drinks and wine. We usually sit at the bar where you can watch a game as you enjoy your wonderful meal. The last time we ate at a table, however, I was really impressed. I wasn't feeling good that day and didn't eat very much of my meal. On the way out, the manager made a point to ask me if there was a problem with my meal and seamed genuinely concerned that I hadn't liked my food. I work in the service industry and its always nice to see people going out of their way and being so accomodating. If you haven't tried Miracle Grill yet, you definitely should. It definitely shines in an area where there are so many great restaurants that its hard to stand out!
Delicious brunch menu!! – They have the best breakfast burritos ever. I've also had the corn pancakes w/ fresh fruit and they are delicious too. Lots of fresh fruit drinks. Reasonably priced. They have this delicious corn bread and home fries that are served w/ most every dish also.
