amazing place....
This is a patisserie like no other. Classic patisserie to me make stuff that is just too basic and sweet, and Colson Patisserie takes the "bakery experience" to a new level.
I first found this when ordering a birthday cake for my SO. The cake and the way it was decorated was just simply amazing. We got to try a couple of different cakes and saw the artist there finish decorating a cake while we were there.
You must go there.…
Hands down, best pastries in Park Slope. I've come here with my fiancee, and it always feels like we're stepping through the doors into a beautiful, cozy bistro in Paris. The aroma always gets me when I walk past the place on the way to the subway. Pastries are great, service is warm, espresso is far beyond Starbucks and whatnot, and the salads/sandwiches are very European!…
best pastries in town, superb gelato, great coffee, real quiche..
I'm very addicted to Patisserie Colson which has become one of my favorites sources for great coffee and pastries. The place has a really nice European warm design. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Most importantly, they serve the best espresso and capuccino I've had in the city. They have a top quality selection of breakfast goods (their morning rolls are a delicious twist on the criossant and cinnamon roll)
For lunch I usually go with a great quiche, or everything salad, followed by a little very rich delight called financier. My husband is addicted to them and i always have to bring a bag of 6 home. Don't miss their homemade gelatto (during their warmer months) which reminds me of little ice cream places in Italy.…
