Not so Good!!.
We went in for the burgers, bad Idea. We ordered 2 burgers well done. It was bloody when they brought them. Asked to cook it more,they cooked the lettuce more and not the burger still all pink. and now the lettuce is hot & wilted, and the bun is falling apart. Took it back for the third time there was no more bun , or cheese left on it. disgusting . I think they use to have good burgers but they have changed their meat therefore its not very good. We had also ordered a $16 tuna burger which was composed of bits of grilled tuna. Not worth it.
I don't know about anything else they serve but burgers are awful here.And the waiter had bad attitude for not wanting a bloody burger.
Would not recommend this place at all.

Excellent Service, Great Ambience, Nice Date Spot. This Place is Great if you're the type to really be picky about service. The Food is very good and the ambiance is exactly what I look for out of a place that I would take someone on a date to.

Great place for Brunch!. Just had brunch here on Sunday - and it was a fantastic experience. The menu is very plentiful & those mimosas keep on coming! If you are looking for a great experience, this is the place for you! Very friendly staff also.

Great Party Venue. Our company had an event at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food is great too (try their crab cakes!).

Great party venue!. We held a work party here and everything was great- the food, the drinks and especially the management. They were friendly and accomodating. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the food was great!

chef is awesome.. This restaurant really does deserve 5 stars!! The food was amazing and the service was out of this world. The waitors accommodated to all of our needs and we really enjoyedour dinner. The seafood was fresh, the meat was perfectly executed and the chef was so friendly, came out to say hey!! and see how our night was going, thats great!! I am definitely excited to go back.

Black Pearl has it all!. Our first time and it will certaintly not be our last,and we came to the city from connecticut. Thank you Black Pearl for a wonderful evening. The food was superb! Fried Calamari for appatizer, Mushroom stuffed ravioli to "die for" doubble cut pork chop "wow!" and the special, half a lobster, mussles and shrimp over linguini,amazing!!. The service was by far the best we have experianced any where in a long time, thank you Jullian!! Also a nice surprise when the owner stopped by our booth to say "hello and welcome", and if thant wasn'ta "classy touch", the chef himself also stopped by to see how we were enjoying our dinners!! To sum up our evening, awsome food, awsome service, great atmosphere and great prices, will definately make the trip from Ct. again (soon)

SERVICE AND FOOD WORKED HAND AND HAND!!!!. "Best Brunch". My family and I decided to take my father out this past Sunday for a belated Fathers Day brunch. Well I must admit the decor as well as the service and food went hand and hand. Our waitress was very attentive and never had to ask once for a refill (UNLIMITED BLOODY MARY'S, MIMOSAS, AND CHAMPANGNE). The food was a nice size portion, (Hey guys, the Bacon Benedict has 3 eggs), and was nicely presented. The place was pretty packed and the 80's music was pumping. The only thing that I was dissapointed in was the outdoor seating was all taken. Maybe I will have better luck next time.

loved it. The service was great, the food was amazing, the drinks topped the whole night off, making this dinner incredible for my girlfriend and I. I highly recommend this restaurant, you wont regret it!

Hummm...My favorite ...argentinian steak.
Never had artinian food. So when I heard argentinian steak I wanted to try it. It's rice, beans, long piece of meat and a sauce that looks like aoli base. I must say it was awesome. I was suprised and ordered it every other time I went to the Black Pearl since May 2007. Thumbs up. Make sure you know how you like you steak and ask the exact cooking intensity otherwise you will miss out on the greatest steak in Brooklyn.
2 thumbs up from the food connaisseur and the great chef I am at home lol. will definatly keep coming here...May be i'll try something else soon :)). Who knows.
