A live venue with a worldly flair in the musician capital of Brooklyn..
In Short
Follow the pink neon light to find Rose, the first live music venue to land on Williamsburg's Grand Street stretch. The owner has personalized the space with familial touches--his grandmother's patterened chintz and sepia-toned wallpaper, shipped from Europe, dresses up a dark wood room filled with the usual booths. The mostly admission-free performances pull from the world over--see Latin jazz, tango and Afro-beat shows, and sometimes a set from a local DJ.
